The Academy announced the nominations for the 84th Academy Awards this morning, and as expected
Transformers Dark of the Moon has nabbed some Oscar Nominations. The third film in the
Transformers live-action series grabbed a nod in Sound Mixing (Greg P. Russell, Gary Summers, Jeffrey J. Haboush and Peter J. Devlin), Sound Editing (Ethan Van der Ryn and Erik Aadahl), and Visual Effects (Scott Farrar, Scott Benza, Matthew Butler and John Frazier).
