DR WU DW-TP0406 Sage Set for Dark Guard Optimus Prime - New Head Upgrade Revealed

Looks like Dr Wu has another new head upgrade in the works. This time it is DW-TP0406 Sage Set made for the Dark Guard Optimus Prime that is getting the beauty treatment with a new head sculpt that better depicts the Autobot Leader, with the worry-some mouth and all. No details on pricing or a release yet. Check out the image after the jump for the all the details we have right now.

X-Transbots designer 539Designs has posted an image to DeviantArt showing MM-VIII Arkose - better known as the Autobot Beachcomber - in the G2 metallic green colors. While there's no indication at the moment that this is a product that's going to be produced, it's an interesting insight into a potential new figure. Keep reading to see!
Following up the photo gallery of the Motormaster-derived Lone Wolf figure, G1Hexatron has passed on a link to a video for the testshot. Showing roughly the same things as the photos, aspects like the transformation engineering will likely be better demonstrated in video, plus some insights from the designers are shared as well. Fan G1Hexatron has received an early test shot copy of an upcoming product from Bold Forms which we reported on some months ago. Their Lone Wolf figure based on Motormaster, developed before Combiner Wars was revealed has since been reworked to be compatible with the official combiner toys. If some of the rougher elements of the design can be tweaked it may have appeal to some as an alternative to the official Motormaster figure, but it remains to be seen if its Combiner Wars interactivity will preserve its relevance.
