Jack - Wednesday, September 05, 2012

e-HOBBY have updated their online magazine with a full write up on the Shattered Glass VSE Soundwave Vs Blaster set that was just announced last week. The in-language post profiles each of the figures with the best looking images we have seen yet both their modes. However, we are also informed these are prototype images subject to changes. Rewind / Eject is featured prominently as graphic with a reveal of some sort ahead. They have also posted some very handy 360 degree viewers that allow people to see the toys from all sides. See the translated profiles and images after the jump.

Since 2009? (You have to admit, that's a pretty recent use of the single-door version to make such a claim, and I haven't heard of such damage so recently) But even granting that, it's been demonstrated that even that wouldn't be a total impediment, should they want to go there.... read more

Yeah, the original mold for Soundwave was damaged beyond repair.

I'm actually turned off by Soundwave being white, which is going to keep me from buying it

The double door is because Tomy is using the Soundblaster mold not the Soundwave mold.

Am I the only one who is turned off by the double tape door on soundwave? Via Facebook, The Collector's Club has shared a photo of a packaging sample of their Ninja Force GI Joe/Transformers crossover exclusive set. Making a point to demonstrate the collector-friendly nature of the packaging, it's explained how a plastic sleeve easily slides off or on the inner tray of the box, allowing the included figures to easily be taken out or replaced as you choose. The inner flap also contains the background of Megatron's brief affiliation with Cobra, and establishes the context of Ratbat, and the Autobots Black Cat and Toaster in the set. We've mirrored the photo along with the previous packaging mockup for your convenience - keep reading!
Apparently there was a bit of a goof at the Collector's Club Facebook page today, as the upcoming Transformers/GI Joe crossover exclusives were advertised as available for purchase. This was in error and the post removed, but not before someone managed to get a screencap of the attached images. Here we can see the individual card mockups for Only Human Arcee and Rodimus, plus the box that the Ninja Force crossover pack will come in. Sounds like these may be close to going up for sale now. Keep reading to check out the preview!
Thanks once again to John DeLuna, we also have pictures of the seventh "bonus" figure that ships alongside Impactor. While the identity of the figure was revealed unofficially a while back thanks to an image from an overseas auction, we are in this one case avoiding making direct mention of the character in case you managed not to be spoiled then and truly want a surprise with your final shipment. Beyond this point is a nice gallery of photos revealing the toy, so beware!
John DeLuna from Radio Free Cybertron is once more bringing us our very first look at the newly shipped Transformers Figure Subscription Service 4 toy! No surprise here as the final figure of the batch, it's Impactor! And we have lots of nice pictures showing it off, along with the pile of accessories seemingly randomly borrowed from Generations Arcee. Get a close look at the new headsculpt and the deco, plus see a shot of the bio card - click through to find it all in the gallery below!
