I've checked a few other online stores and it looks like BBTS is the only one to have it for pre-order. It's not unusual for them jump the gun on stuff like this. Even a foreign vendor like RobotKingdom doesn't have it for pre-order. I wouldn't be surprised if Bruticus is sold a l... read more

*copy & paste* Overall, I can't really say that I'm utterly excited or I'm just okay by this news. I'm just happy that finally they reissue him in his G1 colors. And yes, I will definitely be getting this despite the price is a little bit pricey. Also, I don't have this mold... read more

This is great news for those who missed the several reissues of this team. But I'm perfectly happy with the RiD bots I picked up, and will be passing on this.

I have to agree, the price is atrocious (especially considering for about $25-40.00 more you can have the original...) but this is a sign of good things to come. We were told several times (not sure it was through official channels though) that due to the bootlegs from China flooding the marke... read more

right on right on!! This is great, Ive got Devastator & Menasor already but no Bruticus. Excellent. Now they need to do Superion and Defensor. man these Encores they decide to release sure are arbitrary?! What factors are used in deciding the next Encore? They seem to be just random... read more

I might be excited by this if the Bruticus mold hadn't been used a dozen times already.I have Valdigus & 2 Ruinations, all of which are better colored than Bruticus. Not even slightly interesting. Now if Takara reissued Menasor or Monstructor/Dinoking . . .

Before there was Transformers, there was Diaclone, and we'd be remiss if we didn't talk at least a little about the new Diaclone Reboot merchandise on display at Wonderfest yesterday. On hand were representatives of the pilot troop builder packs (some of which are already up for preorder!), the power suits (types A and B likewise up for order), as well as a prototype for a transport vehicle for the power suits. Diabattles also showed off an upgrade unit giving boosters and giant cannons, as if Diabattles V2 wasn't armed enough! It's a lot of great looking stuff, so click through to check it all out!
While we're all in a Fort Max mood, let's not forget the upcoming candy toy reissue! The ever-helpful TAG Hobby has posted a pair of images of Kabaya's Transformers Gum Metallic Edition figure. And what exactly is "metallic" about it? For starts, we were right about the foil stickers... but that's not all! The large hatch of Fort Max's chest is now a metallic green, and the Master Sword has been rendered in metallic red with a gunmetal handle. Keep reading for the photos!
Takara will be offering Limited Edition Unicron With Kranix Transformers set this winter as a possible New Year's special. Based on the Armada Unicron mold, the Takara decorations appear to be somewhat metallic on this limited edition release. This Unicron features a chest that opens to reveal a super cannon with blasting missile, and can trap Mini-con figures inside his leg (sold separately). Unicron also transforms into planet mode. The figure set is listed for pre-order now at $169.99 USD with shipping slated for December 2016. Pre-order now at bigbadtoystore.com
Before there was Transformers, there was Diaclone. And now Diaclone lives again in the form of the Diabattles V2 set, part of the Diaclone Reboot. Oscar Fung has shared a large number of photos on Facebook of this set. Primarily showing off the many, many ways the components can be combined as both robot and vehicular forms, there's a lot of play and display value in this set. There's also some close shots of the pilots, and a size comparison with a modern Transformers cousin. You can check out all of these photos below!
Master Made has posted new pictures to their Weibo account showing color photos of their Apollo figure, the SD styled Omega Supreme following on from their Metroplex and Trypticon styled figures. These new photos show normal style robot hands under the claw and cannon parts, and a glowing face. No pictures of the alt mode are provided in this batch, but it is a good showing of what the robot has to offer in terms of features. Click through to check out all the photos!
