Transformers Encore 20A Devastator In-Hand Images -New G1 Constructicons Gift Set Out of Box

Thanks to forums member 1069 at ACToys we some of the first looks at the Takara Tomy's latest Encore re-issue with the Transformers 20A Anime Devastator gift-set. The in-hand images show the toys that have been reduxed G1 cartoon style with an new head sculpt and recolored parts in the box only. Talk about an easy pass. I mean, I love devs as much as the next guy but another release of him kind of pisses me off! I would have rather paid another $20-30 for the add on parts on the original encore release then have to repurchase another whole devs release just for a purple barrel. Ma... read more

Amazon Japan has posted preorder listings for a Blu-Ray collection of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers and Transformers 2010 - the Japanese versions of G1 Seasons 1-2 and 3, respectively. It's priced at 19,440 Yen (about $175 by the current exchange rate), is due for release on December 6th, and is region-free... but not HD-quality. Keep reading for details.
It's been a while since the first information hit about the collaboration project between mobile phone provider au and TakaraTomy to make transforming toys based on their Infobar handset. The first of these to be generally available is now up for preorder on TakaraTomy Mall. The Optimus Prime "ANNIN Version" is based on the white variation of the Infobar phone, and the robot elements are inspired by the movie series Optimus Prime. This product is expected for release in December, and is priced at 5400 Yen. No word on the availability of the red Optimus or the other characters shown previously. TakaraTomy has announced the 2017 Diaclone Expo in Japan! This was originally announced for Saturday, the 8th, but seems to have been pushed back to a rain date of the 12th. Available at the expo will be a new head for Diabattles v2 for 1500 Yen, and the Power Suit C Type Solid Scan Version - which appears to be a clear or translucent plastic version - for 3300 Yen.
