Transformers Encore Fortress Maximus, MP-15 Masterpiece Ravage & Rumble, Generations, Prime at BBTS
Jay - Tuesday, October 02, 2012

BBTS just listed some amazing new Takara Transformers - Finally - Fortress Maximus!!!

Encore #23 Fortress Maximus - $349.99 (April Release) or $399.99 for the early air shipment (March Release)

This week is fantastic for Transformers fans. For those of us that missed out on Fort Max the first time around, we are pleased to announce a new Encore Fortress Maximus! We have this fantastic figure listed in two ways - the regular air-shipped release in March is priced at $399.99, but if you want to wait about 3 more weeks and save $50 – we have a more economically shipped option arriving in April for $349.99. Please note that the $349.99 version will arrive to us about a month after release overseas, so patience will be required.

Takara MP-15 Masterpiece Ravage & Rumble - $59.99

Not much of a wait for the first announcement of cassettes to go with masterpiece Soundwave - he hasn't even been released yet, and a two-pack of Rumble and Ravage have been announced. No verification on whether Rumble is red or blue, but we are happy to have the pair listed, priced at $59.99.

Takara Generations - Fall of Cybertron:
Ultra Magnus

Takara is also releasing their own versions of the five newly announced Fall of Cybertron figures. If previous releases are any indication, these may each come with their own Arms Micron, and we have Kickback, Fireflight, Starscream, Sideswipe and Ultra Magnus listed at $37.99.

That's what I meant by improvement. Articulation is basically my issue with all the reissues.

I've been able to keep a big budget for a while and have already set my budget for next year. So I know how much I will be able to spend, AND $400 beats the $900 Fortress Maximus has been selling for, so I can allocate the $500 I will save towards other figures. IMO there is no ... read more

So is it just a re-release of the original toy? If so and there are no improvement to him....why would you spend $400 on him? I know he's cool since he's the larges TF toy made...but that's a lot of money for a figure that isn't even an improvement over the original one. Lord_On... read more

Once again, Twitter user @miiakira2017 has posted an image of their Transformers-related design work. Today, it's a classic car- the specific make, if any, eludes RAC - that would have turned into a laser pistol-wielding cowboy. Though there's a slight resemblance to 2010's Hunt for the Decepticons Scout-class Hubcap, the replies peg this as a Diaclone-era design, so well before that figure was designed and likely a coincidence.
