Transformers Fall of Cybertron Gets Later Year Release; Combaticons Confirmed; Plus A Tour of High Moon Studios

While we just learned this week that High Moon Studios and Activision Publishing will be releasing Transformers Fall of Cybertron, the follow-up to last year's well-received Transformers War for Cybertron, will release later in the year if the December 1, 2012 placeholder is to be believed.

The date is indicated on the pre-order pages on Game Stop's website for Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft XBox 360.

These product pages also provide a game synopsis of the game, the player will once again take control of the Autobots and Decepticons, including Grimlock and the Combaticons, which come together to form Bruticus.

It is not described how this dynamic will work, but we are sure as we get some more information from Game Informer and future hands-on time, we will definitely find out.

Speaking of Game Informer, to kick off their month-long coverage of the video game, the staff took a tour of where all the magic happens, at High Moon Studios. In the video tour, there are some nice views of some never-before-seen concept art of characters that might make it into the game.
