Transformers Fall of Cybertron Minions Frenzy with Ratbat and Ravage with Rumble Sighted in Australia

By Jack on Wednesday, November 07, 2012

Thanks to Trent over at the OzFormers forums who has posted a sighting with image of the
Transformers Generations: Fall of Cybertron minion two-packs that were found at retail in Australia. The Minion toys pay homage to the G1 Cassette Bots that load into FoC Soundwave and Blaster toys. These guys are a bit strange in a round shape instead of the classic tape cartridge format. Get a look at the wave figures two packs that include Frenzy with Ratbat and Ravage with Rumble below for more details on these toys.

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

Yeah I'm really kinda torn on things. On the one hand, I love Soundwave as a character; however, his voyager is very underwhelming compared to the deluxe, and the disks are just kind "meh" ... I dunno, I'll wait and see them in person but I'm probably passing since I've got... read more

More Generations News
We recently reported on some good news regarding Unite Warriors Menasor, where the side-to-side hip ratchets on Motormaster had been modified to give the toy its correctly intended stance and movement range. The news gets better, because via multiple reports we've determined this same change has made it to the production of Battle Core Optimus. Thanks to payres on TFW, we have a couple photos demonstrating the new and improved leg positioning. We've got them mirrored, so keep reading to have a look!
Newsarama has brought us another early look at the preview for next week's Transformers comic. More Than Meets The Eye issue 44 will be hitting shops next Wednesday, after a slight delay - this was to be the August issue, remember. But better slightly late than not at all. Meanwhile, just as with the iTunes preview we'll warn that this preview contains perhaps more spoilers than usual, so keep that in mind before proceeding! Click through to read the preview pages and be back here early next week for the review.
If you've recently ordered any Combiner Wars merchandise from site sponsor Robotkingdom, you may have a small delay in your preorder being shipped. The good news is, the delay is to include the new sticker sheet for Defensor and Optimus Maximus! The promotional images only show a few of the stickers applied, but some added detail on your Protectobots and 1984 Team couldn't hurt anything, right? Read on for some images and more details!
Combiner Wars meets Masterpiece in another photo shoot from Gikpa, who has found a way to attach the Masterpiece Bumblebee mold (the G2 variety in this case) to the Combiner Wars Optimus torso, and still getting Legends Rodimus in there too! While the method of combination is not shown in these photos, it's still an interesting and not at all bad looking custom combined form. We've mirrored a few of the photos, but there's many more at Gikpa's Facebook, which you can find linked below. Keep reading to check it all out!
Alex Milne has posted a clean copy of his cover for Sins of the Wreckers #1! The much anticipated followup to the highly-acclaimed Last Stand of the Wreckers will see Nick Roche returning as writer/artist with Josh Burcham as colorist. Milne's cover features Josh Perez on colors - keep reading to see!
