Transformers Fall of Cybertron Starscream Test Shot Images Show New Seeker Figure

By Jack on Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Thanks to Xterry over at TFW who has shared some images of the Transformers Fall of Cybertron Starscream action figure prototype. We first saw this guy at SDCC 2012. The Generations figure that is shown in robot, a Gerwalk-type mode, and his alternate Cybertronian jet mode is looking pretty true to his game form. Look for this figure to be out in March of 2013. Check out the images of the toy now for more details.

The website Women Write About Comics has posted an audio interview with James Roberts, talking about various facets of his work on More Than Meets The Eye and some of the relations of his ideas to the larger IDW continuity. While it's very general discussion, there's a lot of interesting information dropped through the course of the interview from the whole run of MTMTE. It's definitely worth a listen, so click through for a link to the original article.
Marking the return of a name long lost to the franchise, Motormaster has been what many were waiting for: An option for the non-Silverbolt Voyager mold that wasn't Optimus Prime. The status as the core of Menasor may be a driving factor in any general preference of one instance of the figure over another, but as it turns out there's still a lot to offer here even for people who already bought Optimus. The Transformers App updated with the new Fan Built Combiner voting options, and along with it is some supplemental material. Under the category of the new combiner's enemy, Galvatronus is presented as an option and revealed for the first time in a piece of art. The image heavily implies Galvatronus (comprised of an assortment of limbs from other teams) has mental attack or control powers, and otherwise we get to see the Galvatron-derived head and the full chest detailing. The next round of Fan Built Combiner voting has started, and this round you get to help decide the name for the combined form, personality, the designated nemesis from among the Decepticon combiner ranks known so far, and the gender. There's quite an excellent naming option given in the poll choices, while the other categories follow predictable patterns. Read on for a list of all the available options for each category.
The Caution, Low Sign Youtube channel has posted a pair of videos shot at Toy Fair earlier this month. One features Long Haul, the structural core of Devastator and shows off the toy's articulation followed by a demo of Devastator's arm becoming a missile battery. The second video is another look at Ultra Magnus, starting with the Minimus interaction we've seen, but ending with John Warden commenting about 1/144th scale elements on the toy and how he wants to find ways to incorporate that even more going forward.
