Fall of Cybertron News

Planet X has updated their Facebook page with images PX-07 Triton, the last in their line of Fall of Cybertron-styled Dinobots! This entry in the line represents Paddles, a Dinobot created in a short story by Jean Rabe in the Transformers Legends anthology. The figure looks good, and is massive next to a TakaraTomy Fall of Cybertron Grimlock. So, keeping in mind what day it is just in case this turns out not to be real, keep reading to take a look!

Following on all the support for the Mega Action Series MAS-01 Optimus Prime. Toys Aliance are showing their our appreciation with a sneak peek at their other in development project, Teppeki Gokin! Fans with a sharp eye may see the Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime character in there that will be leading the series. Read on to see the teaser image and more details now.

Planet X has made good on the silhouette posted on their page about ten days ago with new photos of their upcoming Fall of Cybertron-style Starscream-style figure! Looking very similar to the excellent Generations Deluxe mold - but of course, more complex and with more features - no name or date is currently known for the figure. Keep reading to have a look!

Just in from Planet X's Facebook page are new PX Warriors prototype images of their Transformers Fall of Cybertron homage to Optimus Prime and a teaser for Starscream. This figure is taking all the cues from High Moon's character design with an all new figure sculpt that adds articulation and accuracy. Complete with Path Blaster and sword weapons that are modeled on the game weapons themselves. Read on to see the deluxe class figure images.

The first reimagining of Bruticus didn't exactly mean the return of the Combaticons, since the characters' names and personalities were nothing like the G1 versions - but for the second instance of the Combaticons Reimagined, that changed. Today, we're looking at the game and toys that reintroduced the classic Combaticons (or at least their very similar counterparts from an alternate universe), Fall of Cybertron! Read on to learn more.

To mark the release of Combiner Wars Wave 5, TFormers is taking a week to celebrate what is possibly the most celebrated - or at least revisited! - combiner team of them all: the Combaticons! Often imitated and duplicated within Transformers, the Combaticons are an important part of the line's lore in almost every continuity. Click here to go to the feature page, and check back every day between the 18th and 24th for more reviews and more articles on Bruticus and all his offshoots and offspring!

Planet X has posted a set of testshot images for their upcoming PX-06 Vulcan figure! Vulcan is PX's take on Fall of Cybertron Grimlock, and as you can see from the comparison shots in this set, it's significantly bigger, bulkier, and less hollow in back than the Hasbro version. Keep reading to check it out!

Thanks to Radio Free Cybertron's Diecast for the heads-up! As befits the name, Amazon has a Transformers deal for their Prime Day promotion! Amazon Prime members can get the Covenant of Primus - the super-slick book that recounts the entire history of the Transformers Aligned Continuity - for only $30! This deal is a Lightning Deal, meaning it's only available for roughly the next three hours. Click through to see the proof and the link!

Planet X has updated their Facebook page with photos of a color sample of the upcoming PX-04 Summanus, a Fall of Cybertron version of Snarl! With a sword very similar to FoC Grimlock's and what appears to be a Scatter Blaster, Summanus is looking really good! Planet X says that this isn't the final production version, so we'll be sure to keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, keep reading to see the photos!

Not an upgrade kit, but from the perhaps appropriately named "Guilty" group is an Ultra Magnus designed in the style of War For Fall of Cybertron, taking a more traditional looking vehicle mode than the Optimus recolor of 2013. This figure is on the large end of Deluxe size, probably comparable to a 6-inch Titanium figure, leaving it a head-scratcher where this is intended to fit in with a collection. This sample is extremely hand-painted, and a production piece will likely look much smoother, but this should give an idea of what to expect in the future. Click through for all the photos.
