FansProject Breakdown Figure First Look Offers Preview at Ultimate Third Party Sunticons Team

By Jack on Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Thanks to Mr Elljay on Weibo who has posted some new images of FansProject Breakdown in robot mode. The figure show he is based on the same Lamborghini Countach as the G1 toy, but clearly has upgraded articulation through out the toy. As to be expected, we will be seeing all of the Stunticons offered with an eventual combiner set that will pay homage to the G1 Menasor in the ultimate way that we have seen with other unofficial combiners recently. Check out the FansProject Breakdown image below for more details.

We are dedicated to being to be the best resource for all your Transformers news and reviews every day. Keep your browser dialed to Tformers.com for updates as they happen.

Members of the podcast TFYLP had the opportunity to sit down with Rik Alvarez and Aaron Archer following the announcement of his and Simon Furman's involvement with new independent toy company Play With This Too. Rik and Aaron both share tidbits of their histories at Hasbro, plus talk about PWTT and their views on the future of toys in general. Clocking in just under an hour, it's a very interesting piece to settle in and check out. Click through to watch the embedded video now!
Check out the Rik Alvarez interview about his upcoming Play With This Too toys at RetroRobotRadio. Includes the slides of his figures shown at TFcon Chicago 2014.

The Radio Free Cybertron Twitter is lighting up with photos from the floor of TFCon, including some testshots of upcoming figures! Function-X 05 is on display, along with Fansproject's take on Defensor and ToyWorld's Shinebug and Bungee, their takes on Bumblebee and Cliffjumper! In addition there's an in-person photo of Cubrar, Fansproject's Not-Slag in con-exclusive Diaclone colors.
