Code is kind of a let down, just because it doesn't look like he is a headmaster. plus the paint aps but again it could just be the lighting with the head. Still getting him though

I REALLY dislike the coloring on Chromedomes head, but I'm super happy that he's approximately deluxe scale since that means the Headmaster from my custom should fit him, and when I'm done Chromedome will have a Nebulos mode and Earth mode Transtector

BM may not have killed the Brand, but it killed s good chunk of it, and took years for those chunks to comeback to life, now will Beast Hunters be anything like BM? I doubt it. Cause if you do not want to bother with the Beast Hunters Crap, like how I'm not. I can concentrate on Generations inst... read more

a sub line killing the entire brand. that's funny. If Beast Machines lasted 2 years and didn't do it, i don't think Beast Hunters will...

Sorry but you have to plant your feet in order for someone to step on your toes, since Hasbro seems to have zero interest in bringing out new versions of these characters anytime within the next few years (out of the 40 new Generations figures exactly how many are new additions to the previous CHUG... read more

Can we not turn this topic in to A Thing over the sociopolitical ramifications of third party toys?

Haha. And these are stepping on HASBRO's Toes and they own the IP for them. Not sure why you're more worried about them stepping on another 3rd party's toes. That's just silly.

I imagine that it's less mostly because of the lack of die-cast parts

The Action Robo Facebook page has put up some shots of a display testshot of Gun Dog, the Masterpiece-styled Hound by MakeToys. At this stage the figure seems to be sporting its final plastic colors, and is just waiting for someone to come at it with a paint brush to realize the final details. MakeToys is recognizing proper scaling, as Gun Dog can be seen a fair bit shorter than Cupola, keeping it on par with the official MPs of the 84-85 Autobot Cars. Click through and take a look!
Third party Transformers news for the week ending July 4th, 2015. Includes the latest news from Badcube, Beelzeboss, Generations Toys, Hero Hobby, Iron Factory, Perfect Effect, Toymecha, Toyworld, Wukong and X2 Toys. Spotlight this week is on former FCC commissioner Mark S. Fowler! Screen shot this week is Sherman from the 1989 film Millennium.
Group ToyMecha has seemingly launched with photos of a prototype figure based on Punch/Counterpunch, targeting the Masterpiece scale. Seen in comparison with the official Tigertrack, the currently unnamed double-agent is similar in height range with MakeToys' Cupola/Not-Chromedome. We can only glimpse the figure's alternate robot mode so far, but otherwise we're given a decent look at the design. Click through to check out the photos!
Over on their Facebook page, BadCube has published a piece of concept art for "Sunsurge", their take in a Masterpiece-alike Sunstreaker, carrying on from their increasingly popular offerings like Wardog/Warpath and the Insecticon "Evil Bug Corps". They're strongly indicating there will be more of this to be seen at TFCon Toronto later this month, so fans who've been waiting for a Masterpiece option on this character ought to keep watch on this one! Click through to check it out.
