FansProject WB003 Warbot Assaulter - In-Hand Images Show Awesome New Triple Changer Toy

By Jack on Tuesday, November 06, 2012

Thanks to Uranus over at ACToys who has posted some new in-hand images of the FansProject WB003 Warbot Assaulter action figure. These are the best images we have seen yet of the triple changer action figure that is arguably a homage to the Generation 1 Broadside character. There's little to compare with the G1 toy really. Assaulter has an fantastic battle cruiser mode, bad ass jet mode and the robot is pretty dang sweet too. All making for a real winner that everyone is gonna want after seeing these images. Check out the full image gallery for FansProject WB003 Warbot Assaulter now.

X-Transbots designer 539Designs has posted an image to DeviantArt showing MM-VIII Arkose - better known as the Autobot Beachcomber - in the G2 metallic green colors. While there's no indication at the moment that this is a product that's going to be produced, it's an interesting insight into a potential new figure. Keep reading to see!
Following up the photo gallery of the Motormaster-derived Lone Wolf figure, G1Hexatron has passed on a link to a video for the testshot. Showing roughly the same things as the photos, aspects like the transformation engineering will likely be better demonstrated in video, plus some insights from the designers are shared as well. Click through and check out the embedded video.
Fan G1Hexatron has received an early test shot copy of an upcoming product from Bold Forms which we reported on some months ago. Their Lone Wolf figure based on Motormaster, developed before Combiner Wars was revealed has since been reworked to be compatible with the official combiner toys. If some of the rougher elements of the design can be tweaked it may have appeal to some as an alternative to the official Motormaster figure, but it remains to be seen if its Combiner Wars interactivity will preserve its relevance. We've mirrored select photos, click through to have a look!
