Plenty of Wave 1 FOC clinging around here. Meanwhile, very rare to see Bruticus components.

I think it's just Optimus that's not selling well, I can't find Jazz or Shockwave here anymore, but Optimus is still quite present, it's not really a big surprise though, anybody that collects the videogame tranformers can agree that WFC Optimus was a superior figure, and with Ultra ... read more

Wow, is FOC selling so bad that they're having to give away an OPTIMUS PRIME just to move product? That can't be good...

Group ToyMecha has seemingly launched with photos of a prototype figure based on Punch/Counterpunch, targeting the Masterpiece scale. Seen in comparison with the official Tigertrack, the currently unnamed double-agent is similar in height range with MakeToys' Cupola/Not-Chromedome. We can only glimpse the figure's alternate robot mode so far, but otherwise we're given a decent look at the design. Click through to check out the photos!
Over on their Facebook page, BadCube has published a piece of concept art for "Sunsurge", their take in a Masterpiece-alike Sunstreaker, carrying on from their increasingly popular offerings like Wardog/Warpath and the Insecticon "Evil Bug Corps". They're strongly indicating there will be more of this to be seen at TFCon Toronto later this month, so fans who've been waiting for a Masterpiece option on this character ought to keep watch on this one! Click through to check it out.
Perfect Effect has announced that they're adding the Constructicons' guns to their PC-07 upgrade kit for Combiner Wars Devastator! In addition, they've announced that both their PC-06 Devastator upgrades and PC-07 Constructicon upgrades should be compatibile with either the Takara or Hasbro releases - though presumably that's the biggest concern for PC-06, as PC-07 largely brings the Hasbro version up to speed with Takara's Unite Warriors UW04 version. Keep reading for the announcement and a teaser photo!
TFW2005 has posted new images found on Weibo of FansProject's Function-X6 figure, Knight! This reuse of the MADLAW mold represents the Masterforce character Sixknight, the Japanese G1 equivalent of Quickswitch. It's looking pretty nice in Sixknight's cooler color scheme. Keep reading to see!
Robot Kingdom has just updated their Facebook page with copies of the Perfect Effect Devastator upgrade images, noting that preorders for them will begin next week. But more importantly it looks like they're also verifying the distribution of parts. According to their information, PC-06 will include the Devastator specific parts and vehicle upgrades, while PC-07 will feature just the Constructicon forearm addons. Pricing remains to be seen, but at least it looks like you'll have the chance to choose what extent of upgrades you want to apply.
