First Full Look at ROTF Leader Class Optiums Prime
all are dead - Saturday, January 03, 2009

Following up from earlier news, the member "Anonymous" of the 4chan toy forums has posted the first full view of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime Leader Class action figure.

You may recognize a couple of new things in the images of the robot. The action figure now has much more detailing than before. Also, there is confirmation that he's got the additional snap out energy weapons, light up eyes and chest, and sounds features that were reported previously.

Altogether, it really looks like Hasbro is putting a lot more effort into making the new toys, this one at least, look a lot closer to what we see in the movies. If that matters? The real question is if these changes are representative of new things we will see in the movie.

It's nice. I want to see more pictures. Some of what I see looks much better than the first, and some looks like a step backwards. I'm especially concerned with those shoulders (if it's transformed properly). I really, really LOVE my Takara premium Prime with the chrome. That'll... read more

Sir, you are 100% correct about it being a new mold! I was told it was gonna be a brand new mold in august so i was expecting one. When i saw the head/chest pic i was SURE it was a new mold. But after viewing the new full pic i was unsure it was new. Now comes me finding out that even though th... read more

I know it's not a re-tool. I called it a "Heavy-Retool" hahahaha, just so I didn't have to be in a quote war with someone who didn't want to accept that this was a brand new mold. I took the middle path

I think at this point that we should just consider ourselves lucky that they decided to do a new movie prime mold. As far as combining goes, I won't be bothering with jetfire, so the point is moot for me. If you don't like the combining feature....

To be clear here, in the context of the Transformers movie storyline, Michael Bay is essentially storyline. The mass shifting of the allspark was done, as you said earlier, to serve plot. He needed the climax of the movie to unfold in a particular way and that wouldn't have been possible (at ... read more

Deadline reports that actress Pamela Adlon - recent Emmy winner for her show Better Things, and voice of Bobby Hill on King Of The Hill among many others- is in talks to join the cast of Transformers Universe: Bumblebee. Adlon is presumed to be up for the role of the mother of the Hailee Steinfeld character, and hopefully we'll learn more about the film soon. Keep reading for an excerpt from the announcement.
Typically Transformers movies have had budgets around the 200 million dollar level, which includes The Last Knight with an estimated budget of $217 million - which according to Box Office Mojo, it still has not made back in its domestic ticket sales* as of July 20th. With this in mind, it's perhaps little surprise that the next movie up, the prequel focused on Bumblebee is being run much more lean. Screenrant has reported on the situation and given us a surprisingly low budget projection for the movie. Keep reading to find out what the film will be working with!

With production having just begun on next year's Bumblebee-focused movie, one would hope that assembling a cast has been on someone's mind. The Hollywood Reporter brings word of a number of young actors currently in talks for parts in the film, following behind leads Hailee Steinfeld and Jorge Lendeborg, Jr. No one involved has given any specifics yet towards the story, only sticking to the rundown of Lorenzo di Bonaventura that it'll be smaller, less robots, and more character development focused. Keep reading to find out more about the newest round of casting!
It is that time of year again when the annual Transformers Hall of Fame nominees are chosen by you to the Transformers fans. This year we have 12 brand new choices lined from all the movies in for the Favorite Robot Movie Character Poll. That's where you come in. We need your help in narrowing this down to the top three characters. Those will be sent onto Hasbro who will count the grand total of votes from many sites with the winner announced at HasCon 2017. Vote now through Saturday at midnight on the Poll after the jump.
According to Hollywood reporter, actor Jorge Lendeborg Jr. is currently in talks to play the male lead in the next Transformers movie that is tentatively referred to as the "Bumblebee Movie". Jorge has played roles in The Land (2016), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Brigsby Bear (2017). Set sometime in the 1980s, the lead female role will be played by Hailee Steinfeld. The choice of the new lead role, will give us a better idea of what kind of movie this may be. As word has it, this one will feature less robots, and more human character development.
