First Looks at Dark of the Moon Deluxe Skids, Totally Confirms the Character
bwbm - Monday, January 17, 2011

Yesterday, we told you about the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Legends Skids figure, and today, we get a first look at the deluxe class toy of the character.

Like the Legends version, the Deluxe is very loyal to the real-life Chevrolet Spark.

The deluxe class figure of Skids from Dark of the Moon shows off a similar face, with some new color applications (Tuner Skids shown here)

These images also give us solid confirmation (as if the two identical vehicles with either green or orange racing stripes tolling around didn't give it away) that this character and figure will indeed be Skids.

The figure has one of the two faces that launched a thousand words filled with hatred from the Transfan community.

The figure's face seems like it will receive a color lift.

As we have seen so far with deluxe class figures for the Dark of the Moon toyline, this figure will also receive a rather large gun for the MechTech gimmick.

MechTech, following the Mech Alive gimmick for Revenge of the Fallen, will allow the combination of various weapons.

Take a look at the images in this ACToys thread and discuss in the forums!

My thoughts exactly. I have the original Deluxes, the Tuner versions (for my NEST strike teams), and the Human Alliance figs. Fun molds all around. Even the characters were somewhat entertaining, esp. in the background and the Devastator fight.

Even if they get killed off in the opening scene we'll still get 10 versions of each of them. Hell ROTF had 19 different Mudflap toys (link)

So every toy will now come with an oversized gun huh? I just can't stand that head sculpt. That is about the only thing I don't like about it. I doubt that they will get killed off right away as that just doesn't seem to be the way Mr. Bay does it. Someone who pulls the stings on these... read more

I say his face looks like a Looney Tunes character after using one of ACME's products.

Prime1Studio has once again posted teaser images to Instagram for an upcoming statue based on the Transformers movies, this time of Shockwave! The Dark Of The Moon setpiece/cameo - it's a stretch to call him a "character" given his role in the film - is the latest in their line highly-detailed high-end statuary. Roll Out with this piece of tranformers history on the actual Chromia Motorcycle prop from the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen movie. No lie, the posting on Los Angles Craiglist is offering what it is listing as the "actual motorcycle used in the movie, with artist proof and artwork" for sale at $15,000. Based on the 2009 Suzuki B-King motorcycle, the listing includes numerous details on the item. Read on for the full details and images of the Chromia Motorcycle.
In a move that had to be more or less inevitable, TakaraTomy has added Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to their MetaColle line! Short for "Metal Figure Collection," these small figures are minorly articulated and are made of diecast metal. The Age of Extinction versions of the characters will be joining characters from the Marvel movies, Pokemon, Toy Story, Hello Kitty, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Keep reading to see!
