While Transformers-related news coming out of E3 has been mainly dominated by Transformers Fall of Cybertron and Metroplex, Nintendo has included the first gameplay footage from Transformers Prime The Game in their Nintendo 3DS software showcase.

The video shows battling, driving, and transforming sequences.

All of the Transformers Prime voice actors have been signed onto the game to provide an experience reminiscent to the television show.

The game is set for a holiday 2012 release on Nintendo WiiU, Wii, and 3DS.
