First Looks at Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Ripclaw Official Images - Predicon Fembot Coming Next Month!
Jack - Thursday, January 03, 2013

Thanks to the official Transformers page, we have our first official looks at the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters deluxe scale Ripclaw that was revealed recently. The new images show the Female character figure in her Robot and Beast mode. This is one colorful robot in a somewhat striking aqua teal and red color scheme. Also of note is a new Predacon insignia on the chest.

Guess we know who the mystery character is that was shown on the Rage of the Dinobots #3 cover. Many thought it was going to be an insecticon, but now we know it is Ripclaw we will be learning more about. Those guys at IDW are way ahead of us. ;)

Stay tuned to Tformers.com for more details as they are made available. Your best resource for all the Transformers news and community every day.

It's just a gimmick y'all. Pass if you want. I'm only getting this one, the other beast hunters, nope!!!! If the beast hunters were more on par with how Thundertron is, they might have been okay.

Wow, those are HORRIBLE photo's, the package photo's are soooo much better, especially with the muted colors, did Beast Hunters have every new character dropped in a bucket of flourescent paint?

Can't wait to get this one. The end of the tail reminds me of Omega Supreme's claw hand.

There've been some pretty spectacular Combiner Wars customs of late - the innovative Raiden that made a 6-part combiner in the format comes to mind. Now, a Japanese Twitter user by the name of @nekogami_red has made the Transformers Prime Decepticons into a combiner! Knock Out, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Airachnid (gotta have a helicopter in there somewhere or it's not Combiner Wars, right?), and Megatron combine to form a body for Unicron! Click through to see the photos.
Not Optimus Prime, not Transformers Prime. Just "Prime." In a bold move, Hasbro is attempting to secure the exclusive trademark rights to use the word "Prime" in reference to "toy robots convertible to other visual toy forms." Are more Primes on the horizon? Is this a pre-emptive move to make sure nobody can Machine Robot Rescue them on a key term in the modern Transformers mythos? No way to tell, but keep reading to see the details of the filing by way of Transformers@TheMoon!
Fans of Transformers Prime will finally get their fill with this listing that just appeared on Amazon for the Complete Series Blu-ray Boxset that is listed for release on August 12, 2016. After watching this via online streams. The great annimation of this series can finally truly be appreciated in a Blu-ray edition. There are no details on extras at this time, but the set is listed for $144.99 USD as an import, without country origin. Treat this as rumor until an official announcement likely to be made as SDCC next month.
The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.
Thanks to Radio Free Cybertron's Diecast for the heads-up! As befits the name, Amazon has a Transformers deal for their Prime Day promotion! Amazon Prime members can get the Covenant of Primus - the super-slick book that recounts the entire history of the Transformers Aligned Continuity - for only $30! This deal is a Lightning Deal, meaning it's only available for roughly the next three hours. Click through to see the proof and the link!
