First Looks at Yellow & Red Alternity A-03 Suzuki Swift Bumblebee & Cliffjumper

By Glitcher on Friday, August 21, 2009

Thanks to DragonX76, we have just received our first looks at Takara Tomy's Transformers Alternity A-03 Suzuki Swift Sport Bumblebee in both Champion Yellow and Cliffjumper in Red Pearl.

The red version of the figure features a different head, and we're being told that the figure will be indeed named Cliffjumper.

The figures are slated for a November release and may be pre-orderable at TFormers.com sponsors Digital Toys and Big Bad Toy Store for $49.99 USD.

Yeah.......for $50, his head is gonna stay right there on his $50 body. The classics mold isn't that much better than these guys to me.

I'm still eager to see this new CJ head on Classics Cliffjumper, so I made a digibash of what a potential custom would look like: (link) Of course, I have no idea if the head is to scale. This only represents a best case scenario. Fingers crossed that the head actually fits.

TF Alternity line is starting to grow on me. I really like the attention to the head sculpt. Now this is what the Twins "should have" looked like in the TF:ROTF. I bought alot of the movie figures because I liked the Alt modes so much. The Bot modes for me (with the exception of Optimus Pr... read more

Nice. I see that the hood retracts inward for the robot mode. That means no "robo-gut" as we saw in the earlier pictures. I think I will buy these. Now all I have to do is find a red Altenrity Convoy at a decent price.

I like the heads, the rest isn't saying anything to me. I hope someone recasts those heads if they fit on Classics CJ. Beyond that, I'm not intrested in these pieces.

I like the movie Transformers better. I'd love get the Cliffjumper and the silver Prime (to use as Camshaft), but the prices are too high for deluxe sized toys. Maybe if I could just grab them at the store...
