First Official Starscream Images and Character Bio for Transformers Prime Beast Hunter Figure
Jack - Friday, January 18, 2013

Following our previous report of the Starscream figure revealed by the packaging details. We have some official images of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Starscream deluxe class action figure. Look for this guy to be part of the Series 2 wave that will be shipping next month. Check out the images and character bio below for more details.
The scheming Decepticon second-in-command Starscream looks forward to the day both the Autobots and Megatron are out of his way!

Autobots beware, because this Starscream figure is just the Decepticon to take any of them on! He’s a super-sneaky operator who wants all the power for himself, and his clenching Thunder Talon gives him the edge he needs in battle! When he needs to do recon or make a speedy escape, convert him to fighter jet mode. Keep converting him back and forth so his Autobot enemies can’t keep up!

Transformers and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

• Powerful Starscream robot-to-vehicle warrior figure!
• Converts from robot to fighter jet mode and back!
• Clenching Thunder Talon!

Messed up! Ehh, I've heard this mentioned before, but I really think this new toy line is being catered to the kidos. I don't understand half of these new color schemes, thought old ones were just fine. I will say that I'm glad they're getting away from the weapons that light ... read more

He wouldn't be so ugly if they chose a better color scheme for him. He looks different enough so you could get away with creating a new character. I may get this guy and rename him Upos... for Ugly Piece Of S**t.

What is up with the color schemes? Is G2 making a comeback in prime form? Wonder if they are getting a discount on Yellow plastic...

There've been some pretty spectacular Combiner Wars customs of late - the innovative Raiden that made a 6-part combiner in the format comes to mind. Now, a Japanese Twitter user by the name of @nekogami_red has made the Transformers Prime Decepticons into a combiner! Knock Out, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Airachnid (gotta have a helicopter in there somewhere or it's not Combiner Wars, right?), and Megatron combine to form a body for Unicron! Click through to see the photos.
Not Optimus Prime, not Transformers Prime. Just "Prime." In a bold move, Hasbro is attempting to secure the exclusive trademark rights to use the word "Prime" in reference to "toy robots convertible to other visual toy forms." Are more Primes on the horizon? Is this a pre-emptive move to make sure nobody can Machine Robot Rescue them on a key term in the modern Transformers mythos? No way to tell, but keep reading to see the details of the filing by way of Transformers@TheMoon!
Fans of Transformers Prime will finally get their fill with this listing that just appeared on Amazon for the Complete Series Blu-ray Boxset that is listed for release on August 12, 2016. After watching this via online streams. The great annimation of this series can finally truly be appreciated in a Blu-ray edition. There are no details on extras at this time, but the set is listed for $144.99 USD as an import, without country origin. Treat this as rumor until an official announcement likely to be made as SDCC next month.
The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.
Thanks to Radio Free Cybertron's Diecast for the heads-up! As befits the name, Amazon has a Transformers deal for their Prime Day promotion! Amazon Prime members can get the Covenant of Primus - the super-slick book that recounts the entire history of the Transformers Aligned Continuity - for only $30! This deal is a Lightning Deal, meaning it's only available for roughly the next three hours. Click through to see the proof and the link!
