What will happen to our toys when we die? This is a question that numerous collectors have asked themselves and each other throughout this age of adult collecting. Inevitably, as the original generation of Transformers children and collectors starts moving into their 40s and later, thoughts start turning to the twilight of our lives and what will become of the tonnes of plastic we have amassed. What will happen to our toys when we die?
Looks like TakaraTomy's own @TFYUKI is going to have a case of the MP Star Sabers with Unite Warriors Superion, as he's now posted another new image showing the Combiner Wars mold with the limbs arranged G1 style. The Pez Candy USA Facebook page has posted images of the upcoming Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron Pez Dispensers! Bumblebee is pretty clearly based off of the Classics headsculpt, but it's a bit more difficult to nail down the sources used for Prime and Megatron. But the good news is that in July 2015, your dreams of eating candy out of a robot's neck will come true. Keep reading to see the photo!
Vimeo has announced that they will be offering the original Transformers Cartoon for streaming! Invidual episodes will cost 0.99 USD to rent and $2.99 to own and view by streaming and/or download - but the much better option is to buy the whole series for $40. Keep reading for the trailer - a pretty high quality copy of the original G1 title sequence - and a link.
Our forums member chuckdawg1999 has brought us his video review of the much debated, very confusing Platinum Series set of Blitzwing and Astrotrain. In what's likely the first English review of the set, he speculates on the origins of the decos while giving the reissue molds a good run through. But, their value may not quite match their suggested price tag. Keep reading to see the video and chuckdawg's comments!
