Full Coverage Of Movie Building Ad Unveiling

By bwbm on Thursday, May 10, 2007

TFans Board's "Hunter Rose" just happened to be in Hollywood where the "Transformers" movie ad building was unveiled this morning (not really). He graciously took pictures and has also given us a complete write-up of his events at our sister site ENewsI. Mr. "Hunter"'s thoughts? He was "pleasantly surprised by the routine they put on in the [Sector 7 Command] trailer." Head over to ENewsI to see the full write-up including his shennanigans beforehand and his walkthrough of his tour of the Sector 7 trailer.

Also, around 8pm, some protesters showed up holding signs with messages against Sector 7, asking them to stop lying and release information.

A G4 reporter was looking for true transformers fans in line, and asked questions such as what gets you excited about transformers, what character are looking forward to see on screen the most. He also asked people to quote lines, sing the theme song and impersonate the transformation sound.

I got there around 7:10am, so I didn't get a protoform toy (which I don't really mind, but it would be cool to get one for free since I'm not planning to spend any money on those). If they were giving away Voyager Ironhide or Deluxe Bonecrusher, I'd be kicking myself.

If I remember correctly, the screening will be in early or mid June. They will contact us with the precise information. Our tickets say "admit two", but it also says that it does not guarantee seating, so I'll make sure I get there pretty early this time.

I forgot to mention that they told me that the screening would show the entire movie (not only the four our five unfinished scenes that press people have been seeing around the world), and that it will be the first screening of the transformers movie. sweeet!! =)

I think they had a Superman movie sign on that same building last June when during my unfortunate trip to Hollywood. Shame how that movie turned out...
