Transformers GDO Megatron Out of the Box - Decepticon Leader Samurai Style
Jack - Sunday, September 30, 2012

Thanks to the Meteor Operation group who have posted a handful of new images showing the Asia exclusive Transformers GDO Megatron action figure. The images show the Decepticon leader Megatron presented samurai style with a green and purple color theme reminiscent of the G1 Constructicons / Devastator team. The figure is a repaint of the original ROTF Bludgeon mold that has since been reduxed as Gigatron and Banzitron and now we see a forth figure with a new head as Megatron!

If they would tweek the mold and give him some real feet and hands it could work for Megatron, but not with just a new head and new color . I think Megs as a tank works...but this mold needs way more work to make it work....I can't believe they haven't tried to take this mold and cross it wi... read more

While many will argue that this mold is perfectly acceptable as Banzai-Tron, I maintain that it's ONLY good for Bludgeon, just does not work for anyone else.

Maybe the real Knights Of Cybertron were the friends we made along the way. ...okay, probably not. But this issue is about the friends our Decepticon friends the Scavengers have made along the way. More Than Meets The Eye: Revolution is the final comic to bear the title before it becomes Lost Light,, and is written by Nick Roche & James Roberts with art by Alex Milne and colors by Joana Lafuente. Coming out Wednesday this week is the final IDW Transformers comic to carry the More Than Meets The Eye title. The Revolution tie-in one shot features the arrival of the Scavengers on Earth for a mission of critical importance! What could possibly go right? We will, of course, have our review up first early this week for you to read, and in the meantime you can continue on to the full article below for the solicit text and preview pages, via Newsarama!
Hot Rod has needed a Classics style updating for a while. The Rodimus from the 2006 line aged very quickly, a fact that became very evident with its rerelease in 2010. But with troubled Masterpiece releases between then and now, the question must be asked: can we actually get a good Hot Rod toy? Yes. We can. Head over to the review page to watch our video review, or check out the text and photos version, along with our gallery of 150 photos of Titans Return Hot Rod! Click here to get started.
Twinferno is the Monsterbot Doublecross, with a new trademark-friendly name. At least he's less likely to be casually confused with Doubledealer now. Despite some fairly positive aspects to the toy, it's overall kind of disappointing thanks to some of the design choices. You can find out more about that on the review page, where you can watch coverage in video, or check out the text and photos version, with a link to our full gallery of 115 images! The first preview of Transformers: Lost Light #1 is now up on iTunes! The "third season" of More Than Meets The Eye pairs writer James Roberts with artist Jack Lawrence and is due out sometime this month. Exactly as you might expect, this three-page preview gives no indication as to how the cliffhanger from the end of The Dying Of The Light will be resolved. But it does introduce some new characters! Keep reading to see it.
