Finally, Alfes2010 has gotten to the full combined form of the first Unite Warriors release, showing off the fully formed Superion. We've found out independently that the Unite Warriors toy still has the rubbery plastic antennae on Superion's head, simply painted gold now instead of an orangey yellow. Meanwhile, you can check out the new deco in the handful of photos we've mirrored, then have a look at the full photo review.
COSMOS UNLEASHED! A misunderstood AUTOBOT. A DECEPTICON space station. Cut off from their allies, SOUNDWAVE and COSMOS come face to face... alone.
While other retailers had stocked Combiner Wars Wave 3's Deluxe Protectobots previously, HasbroToyShop has finally listed the first three on their own site! Blades, Streetwise, and First Aid are all up for preorder now with a ship date of 7/20 - interestingly, Rook is not listed as of yet. But the better news is that, while the SRP on the previous waves of Combiner Wars was and is $16.99 apiece, Wave 3 is being offered for the previous Generations Deluxe pricepoint of $14.99. Alfes has uploaded two more photo review galleries covering the rest of the team members of the Unite Warriors Aerialbots after the initial Silverbolt gallery yesterday. The reviews are paired by matching mold partners for some convenience, and we get a good look at the decos of each figure, though unfortunately there's not a followup look at the TakaraTomy vs Hasbro figures to really highlight the differences. Click through for some mirrored photos, and stay tuned since Superion can't be far behind!
Twitter user Herakuwa has posted images of a really impressive Combiner Wars custom Raiden! Using Hot Spot as the torso and the Blades/Alpha Bravo mold for the limbs, Herakuwa has also incorporated Million Publishing Shouki as the sixth member of the team. This dedication becomes perhaps even more impressive when you consider that none of the Combiner Wars figures are even available in Japan yet, meaning that all of the components except Shouki had to be imported. Keep reading to see!
