More Legends News
Loopaza Mega Store has posted scans from the latest issue of Figure-Oh (Figure King) magazine! Masterpiece Inferno gets a full page, as does Titans Return/Legends Fortress Maximus in the form of an interview with designer Shogo Hasui. The last page gives us an assortment of upcoming products including a very small photo of Legends Super Ginrai, and a pretty good look at MP Cheetor. Also a shot of Lynxmaster! Keep reading to see it all!
Amazon Japan seems to be the first to get to show off the full spread of photos for TakaraTomy's take on the Titan Class Fortress Maximus. The giant Legends entry, due this September, is finally seen in full color and deco - and revealing that it will apparently have some stickers as well! And for the first time we get to see the robot mode for this version of Cerebros which unsurprisingly does its best to take after the colors seen in The Headmasters. We have all these photos mirrored, so click through and check them out!
New in from Hisashi Yuki we have a pair of new photos of Legends Series Titans Return Scourge! The TakaraTomy edition of the mold is due out in August, which means we have plenty of time ahead of us for more teases. Today's focus mostly on the robot mode, showing off its deco quite well, as well as providing a look at the vehicle mode in the second picture as well. Click through to have a look!
Reports from people in attendance, and subsequently a rough sketch released by Hisashi Yuki all demonstrated that Super Ginrai, TakaraTomy's use of the Powermaster Optimus Prime mold, would be fairly distinct from the Hasbro equivalent. Now thanks to an image snapped during the presentation and shared by Fai Wong, we have a direct look at the images of the prototype and can see a good portion of what's been changed, and how. Keep reading to take a look, along with comparison images and more details!
After word got out of Ginrai at Tokyo Toy Show this weekend, Hisashi Yuki has elected to share a sketch of the upcoming Legends toy! The torso is indeed much more similar to the original figure when compared to Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime, but in terms of major changes that's the most we can make out at present. Going by mechanical translation Yuki seems to have been rooting for a Masterpiece version of the character, but the crowd was pleased with the Legends announcement just the same. Keep reading to see the sketch!
