We're just guessing, but we think Hisashi Yuki probably loves the part of his job where he gets to play with toys early and show them off for TakaraTomy. This time, he's showing off the upcoming limited Legends versions of Armada Megatron and Black Convoy, AKA RID `01's Scourge! While Megatron is quite naturally compared to LG-13, Scourge is paired with fellow recent Car Robots homage Gelshark/Sky-Byte! Keep reading to see!
Autobase Aichi has brought our attention to TakaraTomy's preorder pages for Black Convoy and Armada Megatron! Interestingly, while Scourge from the original Robots In Disguise is listed with his original name of "Black Convoy," Megatron is listed as "Armada
Megatron," and not as Micron Legend
Megatron. Either way, at 3500 Yen Scourge will run you less than half what the TFCC version goes for on eBay, and Megatron will be kind of pricy at 7500 Yen. Release is scheduled for June 20th-21st. Keep reading for photos!
Today on Twitter, Hisashi Yuki showed off the packaged form of LG13 Megatron, the less red Legends equivalent of Combiner Wars Leader class Megatron! And then he posted an image of the figure with its Armada counterpart, hinting that a Legends version of that figure might even be on the way. Could this be LG15, after Ultra Magnus? We don't know yet, but until we do you can keep reading to see the images for yourself!
eHobby has posted a less-intrusively watermarked copy of the Legends Series Ultra Magnus photo to their web shop today. This gives us a bit better look at the overall execution of the deco on Magnus, and his inexplicable Alpha Trion partner figure. The Legends deco is significantly more accurate to the early issues of More Than Meets The Eye
than the Hasbro version, whether you find some of those changes good or bad. Keep reading to take a look.
Singapore's Planet Iacon has posted new images of TakaraTomy's LG13 Legends Megatron! All but identical to Combiner Wars Leader-class Megatron, LG13 sports a bit less red and more silver than its Hasbro-release Generations counterpart. Keep reading!
