More Legends News
This is one I think we've all been curious about: what do the Legends Series and Titans Return releases look like side by side? Twitter user @King0157 has an answer for us, having taken extensive photos of Hardhead, Galvatron, and Skull/Skullcruncher/Skullsmasher! We even get some photos of Galvatron's Headmaster/Titan Masters together... and wow, does Nucleon look better with some paint. Hope he's less crumbly! Keep reading to have a look.
Finally for the moment we're looking at the Legends Series display from Summer Wonderfest. TakaraTomy's Titans Return lineup is well represented, going all the way to October's releases - if not a bit farther with the Super Ginrai prototype. Among the photos we get good looks at the retooled faces for Chromedome, Mindwipe, and Highbrow, plus reminders just how nice the decos are for Scourge and Blurr, and plenty more! We've got a lot of photos of this table, so keep reading to start browsing the gallery.
Autobase Aichi has posted screengrabs from a six hour! YouTube video of Wonderfes footage captured by Dengeki Hobby Web! The part probably of most interest to us is captured in those screens: a side-by-side comparison of Legends Series LG35 Super Ginrai with Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime! In addition to the other changes, we see that the Headmaster robot - presumably named Ginrai - has a more traditional Optimus Prime face than PMOP's Orion Pax look. Keep reading and clear your calendar for the screens along with the video!
TakaraTomy's Legends Series is on display at Wonderfest, and thanks again to Twitter users kudou4wd and Chohenken we have some early shots from the exhibit. Starting us off we have a couple shots of the grey prototype of Super Ginrai, and some shots showing off some of the decos but also the new head sculpts for the TakaraTomy versions of Chromedome and Highbrow. Keep reading to check them out!
New in from Dengeki Hobby we have a few high res images of TakaraTomy's Legends Series Super Ginrai. Retooled from the already substantial Powermaster Optimus Prime retool of Ultra Magnus, it goes for a slightly more traditional Optimus Prime look along with a few other improvements, though it still features the awkwardly arranged feet first clearly seen in the hobby magazine scans recently. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of this on display not that Wonderfest is underway - stay tuned, and check out the mirrored photos below!
