Transformers Generations G2 Bruticus Combaticons Exclusive Video Review
cakedup - Thursday, December 27, 2012

Just as the FoC Bruticus toys were being sold for the first time we got wind there would be several versions of it. This one is the G2 model that is an Amazon exclusive. All in all these toys are an impressive feat of engineering and are overall very successful. I do feel they were a bit more ambitious than the needed to be and that has hurt them. Either way, this set is recommended at normal retail and not a penny more.

We are dedicated to being to be the best resource for all your Transformers news and reviews every day. Keep your browser dialed to Tformers.com for updates as they happen.

More Generations News
Thanks to Timo Damian Reidt who has sent us in-hand images of the Transformers Generations Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime action figure. Get a look at more images of the figure out of the box in his robot and alternate modes with dome detailed shots of the litte features and more. We also get a look at the Titan Wars Loud Mouth figure of out the package. See them both in the gallery below.
In 2009, More Than Meets The Eye writer James Roberts made his sort-of professional writing debut on IDW's Transformers comics with a credit on All Hail Megatron #15, later co-writing Last Stand Of The Wreckers with Nick Roche. But Roberts almost joined IDW's Transformers team even earlier! Nick Roche has posted initial designs he produced for Spotlight: Octane, a one-shot pitched to IDW with Roberts as co-writer. Click through for more details and a look at Roche's nifty Cybertronian Octane design!
The official Transformers Earth Wars Twitter has posted a new wallpaper image! Drawn by the versatile and talented Guido Guidi, it features a healthy-sized cast of G1/Generations favorites slugging it out in their Earth Wars designs. Keep reading to have a look!
We have a tiny bit of new info about TakaraTomy's use of the Combiner Wars Sky Lynx mold. Revealed in the customary silhouette, their as-yet-unnamed take on Sky Reign seems mostly similar to the US version in molds, save for the replacement of Smokescreen with a use of the First Aid body type. Today offers no greater insight to character identities, but we do have the product code, UW-EX, and a date for orders to begin, June 9th. This looks like another TakaraTomy Mall exclusive - though as usual we expect mainland Asia to be general retail for easy import. Stay tuned for more info!
Forums member chuckdawg1999 has brought us a two in one review. Throwing all sense to the wind he imported Titans Return Wheelie and Rewind from the brief early Australian release and has prepared a video about the two figures for us. Have a look at the transformation, some of the design details and more. You can check all that out in the video, embedded below!
