Generations / NewsBBTS has changed their solicitation for Generations Wave 3, citing a cancellation of the Wave as originally solicited. Rattrap and Beast Machines Tankor (AKA "Fat Tankor") are still on the way but Crosscut, the ex-senator introduced in IDW's Dark Cybertron, is delayed. Hasbro has just informed us that the Deluxe Wave 03 Case assortment has been cancelled. This case contained Rattrap, Tankor and Crosscut. They have confirmed that all three figures will be released, but they will be spread over various future assortments. Rattrap and Tankor have been solicited in a new assortment, but Crosscut has been delayed and will be released in a future and currently unknown assortment. Due to this matter we have adjusted all existing preorders for this set of 3 to a set of 2. This new set of 2 will consist of Tankor and Rattrap only, and all existing preorders will receive this set for $31.99 respectively. Please note that the price per figure remains the same as it would for the original set of 3 figures (about $16 per figure). We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and we are hopeful that everyone will enjoy the new assortment variety.

A new revision of Wave 3 has been posted, which contains only Rattrap and Tankor 2 to a case along with the figures in Wave 2- Scoop, the "Centuritron" Mini-Con Team, Fall of Cybertron Skywarp, and Armada Starscream. While nothing is concrete in terms of the justification, delaying Generations product in order to give Age of Extinction more time and space in stores would make sense, though so far we're not seeing a complete interruption of Generations as we have for every previous movie. Hopefully Hasbro will hold to their promise of that not happenng, as the alternative would quite frankly make us sad.
