I think it is the camera angles, and the fact that the paint casts better quality shadows on itself. Either way, that Tomy paint job puts the Hasbro version to shame.

Ok I don't know if it is just the pictures, but why does the Takara FOC Optimus Prime look bigger than the Hasbro FOC Optimus Prime

More Generations News
David, AKA @FakeEyes22, has posted a set of photos to Twitter showing off a pair of new radio-controlled Transformers from Shantou MZ Model Company! Shown are Age of Extinction Helicopter Drift and Generations Megatron, and Megatron has... well. He fires darts, let's maybe leave it at that. Keep reading to see!
Ben Yee from BWTF.com has posted a video to his Youtube channel showing Cerebros, Titan Class Fortress Maximus's head component at the Hasbro showroom this afternoon. In the video we get to see Cerebros transformed from head mode to robot in a process almost identical to the G1 toy, as well as hearing the figure's electronic sound, followed by a quick look at Emissary, Cerebros's Titan Master being transformed. We've embedded the video, click through and take a look!
Chromedome was leaked a few weeks ago showing only a head, leading to a fear that this popular character would fall in the Titan Master pricepoint as just a head. Relief abounds with the showroom reveal that it indeed does have a body and will be a Deluxe. But if you look close you might notice something else: The shapes of the body parts, the layout of vehicle anatomy on the robot... it looks more than a little like Combiner Wars Dead End! Did we get just a remolded Combiner Wars toy in Titans Return? Keep reading.
The Transformers official Instagram has had another small update this evening, showing off close up photos of Cerebros, the large head component of Fortress Maximus in both its head and robot forms, alongside Emissary, Cerebros's Titan Master. Also included is a solid, "clean" version of the Fortress Maximus shot they started the day with. We have them mirrored, so keep reading to take a look!
While we were busy dealing with the official news and reveals for Transformers today, the leak sources continued to try to gain attention by posting more art. This then is the complete version of art for Brainstorm, the later-assortment retool of Deluxe Blurr. In robot mode the distinction between toys is far more pronounced, and in a move sure to please many, the Titan Master continues to favor the appearance of the character in the IDW comics! Keep reading to take a look.
