Transformers Generations TG-17 Blaster with Steeljaw & TG-18 Skywarp Images from Takara Tomy
BaCon - Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Thanks to Takara Tomy's very own TKYuki who has posted a new image of Takara Tomy's soon to be released Transformers Generations TG-17 Voyager Class Blaster with Steeljaw and TG-18 Skywarp to his twitter account. Get a look at these Japanese editions of the toys that feature metallic paint that is different from the cartoon colors on the Hasbro editions. We're still waiting to hear when / if there will be a Hasbro release of the Skywarp figure that will most likely be revealed at BotCon and or SDCC coming this summer.

More Generations News
We'll have more photo galleries of the Victorion set a little later on, but in the meantime here's something fun to hold you over! Rust Dust from Victorion's Rust Renegades team joins Tailgate (portrayed by Maketoys Rear End) to get an education in Earth culture - starting with the internet. But since Tailgate has never been to Earth, aside from that one wacky adventure in Swerve's TV-based simulation, Rust Dust may not have picked the best teacher... Keep reading to see the full image and find out what insights Tailgate has to offer!
Next in line as we bring you Combiner Wars Victorion is Dust Up! This figure uses the Dead End base mold, and while not having quite the same degree of retooled parts as Jumpstream, still manages to stand out from the (many, many) earlier uses of the mold. This isn't without issues, notably an inability to tab the chest flap in to the torso, though it has little real impact on the robot mode. Our gallery for Dust Up has over 50 photos for you so you can get a good look at everything this figure has to offer, so keep reading to check it out!
We're back with more from the Combiner Wars Victorion boxset! Our next gallery up is Jumpstream, remolded and recolored from Breakdown. While the vehicle form has almost no differences from the original version of the mold, the robot features quite a bit in the way of new parts, giving it a distinct appearance from Breakdown or the others in the mold family. We've got another 54 photos in this gallery, so jump in and get a good look at all the details of this figure. And stay tuned for more Victorion coverage to come!
While we all wait for the impending release of Titans Return, more reviews and images of Leader class Blaster are coming in from Asia! Autobase Aichi has collected some of these from various sources, and the interesting thing to see this time around is a size comparison to both Masterpiece Soundwave and G1 Blaster. It's pretty comparable to both! Click through to see the images for yourself.
Our coverage of Combiner Wars Victorion continues! Now that we've looked at the combined form, let's check out the figures that make it up. We're going to Stormclash and Skyburst next, the twin helicopters. With little difference between them besides deco placement, we're presenting both together in one gallery. You can see their new head sculpts, as well as the clever means by which they gave them mirrored torso detailing. If you can't figure it out, we'll detail it in the review coming soon! And finally, see a family reunion of all the helicopter characters so far - all that and more below!
