Hasbro Transformers Fall of Cybertron Voyager Grimlock In-Hand Images Show Lighting Effects
Jack - Thursday, December 13, 2012

Thanks to Robotokingdom who have posted more Fall of cybertron Voyager Grimlock images with an update showing in-hand images of the voyager class figure and its lighting effect, weapons and more. The light works in both Robot and Dinosaur mode. In robot mode, the dinosaur head is hidden in the chest, so it can light up his Dinobot Logo! These bad boys start shipping December 15, 2012 in Asia. Check out the images below for more details on Hasbro Transformers Fall of Cybertron Voyager Grimlock.

I might pick this up just to stand next to my G1, Masterpiece and Animated Grimlock, but to be honest I'm a little let down with this guy.

I actually like the electronics on this one! For once they serve a purpose and make sense for the figure. I can't wait to snag this guy!

Unnecessary electronics that just make the figures cost more, what children really want a T-Rex that can light up brighter than a christmas tree? At least he still looks halfway decent, definately going on the shelf.

The Hasbro US release of Groove earlier this year was not the smoothest process due to unavoidable production issues. But if you missed out on the initial stock, or the sporadic reappearances since, you're in luck! Hasbro Toy Shop currently has Deluxe Groove in stock once again for the original price of $16.99 - and it ships free under the current site-wide free shipping promotion! It may not last very long in stock at that rate, so best jump on this one while you can! Keep reading for the product link.
As happy as I was with Hot Rod, Triggerhappy goes just that bit more beyond. Now sure, I have a prior attachment to the character design that might otherwise inform such a thing, but imagine how pleased I was to see that even if that hadn't been the case, Triggerhappy got made really, really well! I can't wait to see what comes along for this base design in later reuses and pretool alternate parts! Find out more on the review page where you can watch the video, and find the text and photos version - click here to get started!
If you've been seeing reports of select Combiner Wars sets at discount retailers and lamenting that later sets haven't been commonly available, Hasbro Toy Shop may be stepping up for at least one more option. Right now they have the G2 Bruticus giftset marked down to $49.99, and currently appears to fall under a site-wide free shipping offer. But to make it just a little better, a promo code will get you an extra $5 off. Keep reading to find out the details!
Previews World has gotten some time with IDW's John Barber. Having recently stepped down from his editorial job, Barber will continue to be writing for the Transformers with the launch of the new Optimus Prime title. The interview recaps the end of Revolution a bit, and tries to explain why Optimus Prime is getting a self-titled comic series, offering some insight toward the focus we can expect from the book. We have an excerpt below, and keep reading for a link to the original article.
RIPT Apparel, who you may know for their revolving door of short run t-shirt designs will soon be offering their own exclusive variant cover for the first issue of Lost Light, the successor title to More Than Meets The Eye. Artist Tim Lim has produced this cover which homages the classic 1986 Transformers The Movie poster, with the various elements from this comic taking the starring roles.
