As "Transformers 2" principal photography wraps up in Bethlehem, PA, some new images have popped up from the shoot.
We won't bore you with the images of the steel plant anymore nor Tyrese Gibson dressed up; however, we will show you an interesting photos of an ice cream truck.
An ice cream truck? What? A couple of images from "Squal42080" via "Transformers 2" Director Michael Bay's
official message boards shows a beat up, old, pink ice cream truck with the top of an ice cream cone on the roof, driving around the set.
What this is doing in the
fictional Chinese city is not exactly known, but there has a been a rumor floating around that it will become two Autobots. That's right, not one Autobot, but twin Autobots.
"Chaingun" of
Seibertron reports this information after interviewing an individual leaving the Bethlehem shoot wearing a "Transformers 2" crew identification card.
While the information sounds a bit odd, scriptwriter Roberto Orci has said that the movie
may feature up to 20 robots.
The report from "Chaingun" also references that a red Acura NSX and a grey and black Audi RS6 have been spotted on set.
"Nelson," the administrator of Mr. Bay's
Shoot For the Edit, presents some contrasting evidence that an Audi RS8 has been spotted at Bethlehem Steel. A blue Chevrolet Corvette has been spotted on the site as well, according to "nelson." Please note that he has added a disclaimer that these reports are not from him.
He also links to an
image gallery featuring Mr. Bay with a white Audi R8, which he incorrectly calls an RS8. Many automotive news sites and blogs have been reporting that the RS8 is an R8 with a 530 horsepower V10, but this vehicle is currently in development and does not officially have a name.
How does the news of twin Autobots or a NSX and R8 sound to you? Does this sound plausible? Sound off in the comments.
