Ice Cream Truck Video Confirms Call Sheet Rumor
bwbm - Thursday, September 11, 2008

Several new videos from "RodrigoNJ" from the principal photography stint in June at Bethlehem, PA have confirmed rumors regarding the faded-pink Ice Cream Truck.

These rumors of the vehicle have been floating around since a "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" call sheet was leaked that same month.

The call sheet called that the old Ice Cream Truck dubbed "The Twins," will "split around," and now these three videos show just that. The vehicle will split into a front-end and a back-end.

One of the videos show the Ice Cream Truck sitting in two while the rear half is spun around.

Another shows the two halves driving around in circles, which looks to be under the vehicles' own power.

The last video just shows the halves sitting while it looks like the vehicles are being filmed.

You make it sound like a transformer ice cream truck is a bad idea. I've wanted one since I was FIVE.

If Bay would do that to folks, then that's a scary thought.

If I were Bay, and I happened to know about or run across an already-existing halved-ice-cream-truck prop, hell yes I'd spend five bucks to take it for a spin around the set between shots, get an intern to shoot five minutes' footage with a handicam, and post it anonymously to the internet ... read more

MY opinion: they should get the guys who make the movie TRAILERS to make the movies! (not that it has anything to do with the current line of conversation, in which case ... AN ICE CREAM TRUCK????!!! I thought the Mountain Dew 'bot was bad enough!!!)

A transforming Ice cream truck? Reminds me of "Twisted Metal Black:" SweetTooth's truck had a robot mode!

More Transformers Movies News
Typically Transformers movies have had budgets around the 200 million dollar level, which includes The Last Knight with an estimated budget of $217 million - which according to Box Office Mojo, it still has not made back in its domestic ticket sales* as of July 20th. With this in mind, it's perhaps little surprise that the next movie up, the prequel focused on Bumblebee is being run much more lean. Screenrant has reported on the situation and given us a surprisingly low budget projection for the movie. Keep reading to find out what the film will be working with!

With production having just begun on next year's Bumblebee-focused movie, one would hope that assembling a cast has been on someone's mind. The Hollywood Reporter brings word of a number of young actors currently in talks for parts in the film, following behind leads Hailee Steinfeld and Jorge Lendeborg, Jr. No one involved has given any specifics yet towards the story, only sticking to the rundown of Lorenzo di Bonaventura that it'll be smaller, less robots, and more character development focused. Keep reading to find out more about the newest round of casting!
It is that time of year again when the annual Transformers Hall of Fame nominees are chosen by you to the Transformers fans. This year we have 12 brand new choices lined from all the movies in for the Favorite Robot Movie Character Poll. That's where you come in. We need your help in narrowing this down to the top three characters. Those will be sent onto Hasbro who will count the grand total of votes from many sites with the winner announced at HasCon 2017. Vote now through Saturday at midnight on the Poll after the jump.
According to Hollywood reporter, actor Jorge Lendeborg Jr. is currently in talks to play the male lead in the next Transformers movie that is tentatively referred to as the "Bumblebee Movie". Jorge has played roles in The Land (2016), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Brigsby Bear (2017). Set sometime in the 1980s, the lead female role will be played by Hailee Steinfeld. The choice of the new lead role, will give us a better idea of what kind of movie this may be. As word has it, this one will feature less robots, and more human character development.
According to the LA Times, the next foray into the Transformers Movie Universe will get a record $22 Million tax credit for shooting the movie entirely in California, USA. The money comes from what is being called a "state program aimed at curbing so-called runaway production." Is it just me, or does it seem odd WE the people should foot the bill for productions that all the profit goes back to the studio? California is not alone, Michigan and other states have provided these incentive before. The idea being, these productions will bring jobs and income to the state.
