Autobot Prowl has joined the battle in TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight! He may look like your friendly neighborhood cop on patrol, but check under the hood and he’s 100% military-trained police on a mission to serve and protect. Autobot Prowl is a trusted strategist and friend of Optimus Prime, but he’s decidedly less friendly to those who don’t follow protocol…his protocol.
TFW2005 reports that a new set of SD-style figures are coming of G1 Optimus Prime and Bumblebee under the title Taodoll x Transformers. Why do they have those odd cowlicks? As it turns out, there's an answer for that. Click through for details!
The keen-eyed trademark watches at Transformers@The Moon have reported on Hasbro's latest Transformers trademark: Cybertronics. What does it mean and what is it for? We won't know for a while, most likely, but it's a toy-related trademark. Could be the tagline for a new action-feature, could be a subline of some sort... or it could even be the subtitle of the animated series to follow Robots In Disguise. All we can tell you for sure is that, had it been registered 10 or so years ago, it would've been spelled with an X. Keep reading for info on the trademark!
We've seen many an attempt made at Transformers block-building kits from Built-to-Rule to KRE-O, there's more than meets the eye to copying the worlds most popular toys, LEGO. So why try when you just use the real deal? That's what Joachim Klang did Alexander Jones with their new book called "Tips for Kids - Transformers: Cool Projects for Your LEGO® Bricks". Inside you'll find all kinds of information on how to roll your own Transformers from existing LEGO parts. Judging from the images, they look to be pretty well thought out.
Sponsored by science enrichment provider Mad Science and leading science fiction and fantasy book imprint, Tor Books, the contest called for students in grades 3 through 12 to “Be the Spark” and use NASA technology to create spinoffs that are… “MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE.” Spinoffs are NASA developed technologies that are repurposed and commercialized. One famous example is memory foam. Students shared their ideas on student-designed digital posterboards, called “Glogs,” using a cloud-based, interactive learning and multimedia platform made by Glogster.
