IDW Publishing editor-in-chief Chris Ryall has
revealed that there will be a comic book featuring Wheelie from the Generation 1 era coming in June.
The post includes a mock album cover with Wheelie flashing a sign. "You Wheelie-haters will change your mind after all these years, we promise," writes Mr. Ryall.
While not referenced, this may tie into the pencils that he showed of an as-of-yet-unannounced Transformers: Spotlight book that many of you have guessed to be a more serious, older Wheelie character.

Wheelie as a hip-hop artist? Well I guess that's one way to work his rhyming into the story. I've never bought a TF comic before but I'm seriously considering getting this. |
