BBTS has just updated the listing with a new picture, and says that it will include a Tote head AND an Ironhide head. The sales pitch on Patrol Specialist seems to have shifted from "Spend $100 on an obscure Micromaster homage" to "Spend $20 less to get iGear's Ironhide... read more

Pretty neat, I like the head sculpt. A Tote homage is pretty unexpected. I'd never buy it, but I do think its nice.

Head sculpts were just released for others repaints of this mold. Looks like the are making G1 First Aid, Energon Tow Line and Micromaster Fixit. (link)

I like the mold, but I'm fcar from being in love with it enough to buy it 5 or 6 times at $100+ a pop, the initial two was all I needed, and I absolutely love those two

It was made once, I had a link to it at one time in my earlier post. I think Bacon merged it into the wrong thread. Anyways, according to those in the know, this is the first of several limited run remolds/recolors of this mold. Expect a Diaclone Ironhide and some others.

If I didn't have a problem with this mold in the first place, I'd probably buy Patrol Specialist. The way that front bumper folds away for the robot mode is a little confusing. The hinge on my Not-Ratchet broke when I tried to transform it in a way that, to me, made sense, but it wasn'... read more

The original thread didn't get deleted, it was never made, instead it was posted in the thread on Function X-1 Chromedome

Somehow the original thread about this figure got deleted, but it's actually Micromaster Tote from the Offroad Patrol.

I see no need for this figure, as he does not look like any G1 character. Now if they were trying to do what FP did with Steel Core that is a completely different thing

From the DX9Toys Weibo page we have new images showing off Mightron, their Masterpiece-scale unofficial Megatron-alike. Seen in both robot mode and its decent, if a bit chunky looking gun mode, as well as displaying its poseability and a healthy load of accessories. There's also a couple shots giving comparisons to official Masterpieces and other unofficial same-style figures. Counted among the other recent reveals, and there's certainly a Megatron for every season! You can check out the photos in the gallery below.
To go along with our Galvatron review today, we're now looking at a Shapeways upgrade for it from fakebusker83! Designed to improve the look of the robot mode and restore the poseability lost by attaching the cannon the way the toy was originally designed, the Galvatron Cannon Adapter is a nice, simple, and best of all inexpensive piece to move the cannon to the side. This review shows the "metallic plastic" and the "purple strong and flexible polished" material types. Click here to watch the video review, along with a quick text writeup and gallery of the upgrade parts!
It looks like Titans Return is generating some interesting attention in the third party realm. A group identifying as Hephaistos Works has popped up showing some prototype images for their "HM Garage" system, which appears to be storage pods for extra Titan Masters which can unfold to make weapon emplacements, and even be connected together to form more complex bases. In addition the associated weapons look like they might have 5mm handles to help arm up your larger figures. It looks like a really great concept, and hopefully is just the start for a greater variety of such add ons. Keep reading to take a look!
Just in from Corbot V is the Final Armageddon Mugger is a 3.75" transforming triple changer. He changes from robot mode to shark and can also become a blaster for other transforming figures. This item is priced at $39.99 to begin shipping in August 2016. Pre-order them now from bigbadtoystore.com
The Perfection Series PS-05 Girder figure is made from ABS plastic and features some die-cast parts. He transforms from a robot to crane truck and features a cartoon head as well as a sticker sheet for both US and Japanese deco. The figure size if 8.65" (22cm) in robot mode. This item is priced at $109.99. Order now at bigbadtoystore.com.
