BBTS has just updated the listing with a new picture, and says that it will include a Tote head AND an Ironhide head. The sales pitch on Patrol Specialist seems to have shifted from "Spend $100 on an obscure Micromaster homage" to "Spend $20 less to get iGear's Ironhide... read more

Pretty neat, I like the head sculpt. A Tote homage is pretty unexpected. I'd never buy it, but I do think its nice.

Head sculpts were just released for others repaints of this mold. Looks like the are making G1 First Aid, Energon Tow Line and Micromaster Fixit. (link)

I like the mold, but I'm fcar from being in love with it enough to buy it 5 or 6 times at $100+ a pop, the initial two was all I needed, and I absolutely love those two

It was made once, I had a link to it at one time in my earlier post. I think Bacon merged it into the wrong thread. Anyways, according to those in the know, this is the first of several limited run remolds/recolors of this mold. Expect a Diaclone Ironhide and some others.

If I didn't have a problem with this mold in the first place, I'd probably buy Patrol Specialist. The way that front bumper folds away for the robot mode is a little confusing. The hinge on my Not-Ratchet broke when I tried to transform it in a way that, to me, made sense, but it wasn'... read more

The original thread didn't get deleted, it was never made, instead it was posted in the thread on Function X-1 Chromedome

Somehow the original thread about this figure got deleted, but it's actually Micromaster Tote from the Offroad Patrol.

I see no need for this figure, as he does not look like any G1 character. Now if they were trying to do what FP did with Steel Core that is a completely different thing

DX9 Toys shared a gallery for a prototype of Gabriel, their answer to an unofficial Masterpiece-scaled Omega Supreme. The initial release that preceded this gave a description of the height, but these photos actually show the robot standing among official Masterpieces, including MP-10 Optimus, giving a very clear sense of just how big this figure is. We also get an all-important first look at its articulation and ability to pose, plus some extra details of the alternate mode elements. All of that is mirrored below, click through and see it now!
This one stayed under the radar for a little bit, but it seems DX9 is throwing down in the giant unofficial Omega Supreme game too. D12 Gabriel will stand 56cm tall at the head - just about 22 inches - and features transformation in to the full rocket base. The initial shipment will come with a bonus option face part to represent "shedding tears". It also looks like the tank will be able to carry a Dianaut from the Diaclone Reboot line in the transformed robot head, which will have cockpit details. And it's all for preorder as one unit for just $279.99! Check out the promo images below.
Teased recently, Core Magnus has now been fully unveiled by Perfect Effect on their Facebook page. A recolor of their Jinrai Prime cab robot figure for Super Ginrai or Powermaster Optimus, this is the Ultra Magnus themed release to provide a transforming white truck cab robot. The only unique parts included are a replacement chest plate, and a neck joint adapter, presumably to be used with the armored Ultra Magnus head, but that function is not clear. Core Magnus is set for release in August. Click through to see the photos, mirrored below.
Perfect Effect posted to Facebook early this morning with some new photos of PC-16 - Jinrai Prime, the cab robot they've developed to upgrade Legends Super Ginrai, or just Hasbro Powermaster Optimus alongside their PC-15 kit which features the Powermaster (or Godmaster) partner and a replacement super robot mode head. These shots also reveal for the first time that there will be a redeco of Jinrai Prime in white for Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus! Finally, a silhouette teaser at the end looks to be promising an unofficial Godbomber add on for use with Powermaster Optimus Prime. Check it out in our gallery below!
Kingzilla is a triple changer transforming from robot to jet or dragon creature. Kingzilla's head can transform to a minion driver called Komodus in the jet mode and back to head for dragon and robot mode. Fans of the classic G1 toys will recognize this as an unofficial Snapdragon homage. KFC have done a great job with great looking alternate and robot modes. See the full details and images below.
