Hisashi Yuki has tweeted out a new look at Unite Warriors Bruticus, giving one of the clearest views so far of the TakaraTomy exclusive edition of the combiner with shuttle Blast Off. However, what's worth note here isn't the photo itself so much, it's the message going along with it. In the accompanying tweet, Yuki notes that Bruticus should be on display at the TakaraTomy booth at Wonderfest on Sunday, which means we're likely to get out first proper looks at the full color Japanese version Combaticons as early as Saturday night, relative to US time. Site sponsor Robotkingdom has posted a pair of new photos to their preorder page for Unite Warriors Bruticus - the first color photos of TakaraTomy's version so far! The photos aren't particularly large or high-quality, but a few things are evident - such as Vortex not
having bright yellow missiles on his forearms. Keep reading to have a look!
Adam Pawlus of 16bit.com has posted a confirmation that the version of Onslaught in the Wave 2 Voyager case with Sky Lynx is unchanged from the Wave 1 version, and does not
have the animation-accurate Bruticus parts that were anticipated to be on the second release. Whether we get the intended running change or not down the road is unknown - but don't go buying a second Onslaught just yet expecting the alternate colors. Keep reading for the confirmation tweet!
Fan shajaki has reported spotting the just recently revealed Planet of Junk Clash set in their local Toys R Us in Edmonton, Alberta. While the contents of the set are know and we've already seen pictures, what this sighting gives us is pricing info, and it's a rough one. The set was seen at $109.99 CAD, which just about equals $80 USD. The price may vary a bit from the direct exchange rate, but in any case it's looking like this pack of three older Deluxes is gonna set you back quite a bit if it's something you're after - and it makes the upcoming Cyclonus with Sweeps set just a bit more worrying as well!
Once again we're getting low quality leaks for upcoming things. While we've seen an official (and far, far better) reveal of Soundwave already, making this over-leveled black and white image pretty pointless, we do get a slightly fuller look at Alpha Trion's art, albeit also in black and white and level-adjusted half to death. As RAC had already speculated based on the low res crop, there are small signs this figure may share engineering with Galvatron, though we'll need to wait for a proper reveal to begin to determine that for certain.
