By Jack on Tuesday, October 02, 2012

Thanks to TFW board member Mondo has shared some new in-hand images of Asia exclusive Transformers GDO Starscream and Ironhide Leader class action figures. Both toys are shown out of the box with close ups on their in-box and robot modes. Ironhide looks great, though I wish the tires were black instead of gray. Starscream looks hideous in robot mode. The G1 deco did not translate well to the movie character at all. I probably won't get either, as I already have the black version of Ironhide, and I really don't like the movi... read more

Bow down to the King! Ever since Leader Thundercracker was revealed fans were waiting for the inevitable Starscream repaint. Finally in the twilight of the Combiner Wars 2015 line here it is, complete with crown. For those new to this Jetfire retool (like me) there's a new head, chest, weapons, and wings. For me the main selling point was the crown, I just love how a small piece of TF history has been able to hold on through the years. Definitely worth a pick up.
Thanks to Facebook group Plastic Crack Fiends and Antoine Lewis who has sighted and posted an image of the Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator figure at Toys R Us stores in Sunnyvale California, USA. These are on the shelf at the $149.00 MSRP. This is the somehwhat different version of the SDCC version without the chrome and additonal paint and stickers. We have included an image for reference. Read on the see the sighting image of the Transformers Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator.
Finally, Alfes2010 has gotten to the full combined form of the first Unite Warriors release, showing off the fully formed Superion. We've found out independently that the Unite Warriors toy still has the rubbery plastic antennae on Superion's head, simply painted gold now instead of an orangey yellow. Meanwhile, you can check out the new deco in the handful of photos we've mirrored, then have a look at the full photo review.
COSMOS UNLEASHED! A misunderstood AUTOBOT. A DECEPTICON space station. Cut off from their allies, SOUNDWAVE and COSMOS come face to face... alone.
While other retailers had stocked Combiner Wars Wave 3's Deluxe Protectobots previously, HasbroToyShop has finally listed the first three on their own site! Blades, Streetwise, and First Aid are all up for preorder now with a ship date of 7/20 - interestingly, Rook is not listed as of yet. But the better news is that, while the SRP on the previous waves of Combiner Wars was and is $16.99 apiece, Wave 3 is being offered for the previous Generations Deluxe pricepoint of $14.99. Keep reading for links to the preorders!
