Damn, that looks good! Who would've thought it...a TF toy that looks like the cartoon, over twenty years later? If this is a Hasbro production, like the ad says, this would be a decent add to Cybertron...if Has/Tak can figure out how to work in the Cyber key angle.

I still think this is the most under-rated mold from Energon. it was definitely a piece done for fan service. I just have to wonder why they dind't paint him red to begin with. (I know, we needed a red alert carry over...but...)

This has got to be a Botcon exclusive that leaked out. It's already confirmed that Ironhide will be among the exclusives, this has got to be it.

This is more than likely the Ironhide we'll be getting in the Botcon exclusive set. I'd be really surprised if they use a different mold for that Ironhide.

No brainer. Could see this one coming from over a year ago... First thing I thought when Tow-line was released was... Why isn't this named Ironhide?
Easy answer... so we can buy him twice when repainted from Tow-line to Ironhide. Hasbro knew what they were doing with this one ;-)
Anyone care to guess when and in what line Rachet will show up ;-)
A decent mold, but could use a waste... hands down better than the original Ironhide mold borrowed from Diaclone, though.

Looks nicer in red than in his original Energon blue and white colour scheme, but everyone knows how much of a shelf warmer this was. I think that it could sell better in this repainted colour though.
People did not give it a fair shake the first time around. Me included.

The Botcon exclusives are supposed to all have new head sculpts. I'm hanging on to the fact that this looks like a repaint of Tow-Line's head as hope that they'll make a regular release out of this.
