James Avery Cast to Lend Voice to New Autobot In Transformers 3
bwbm - Tuesday, February 02, 2010
A recent episode of Unscripted featured an interview with James Avery, best known for his role as Philip Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In the interview, Mr. Avery talks about his life and his career both on stage and on television, but the most interesting tidbit (for us transfans anyway) is the blurb on the right of the video.
The blurb claims that Mr. Avery will be lending his voice to Silverbolt, a new Autobot in a little film called Transformers 3.
This role was never indicated by him in either of the videos available on the interview page, so we will have to take this as a rumor for now, although there really is not a reason to write that information unless Mr. Avery told them.

I donno everybody but if this is true, I'm more thinking that Uncle Phil will be getting the Alpha Trion treatment. I think I may be the only one thinking this though. Would be awesome to see that happen.
He was a Concord jet. I seriously hope he is the Arealbot leader and I hope Superion is more agile and not an ape like Devastator was. Superion would have rocket thrusters all over him so he should be able to stand straight up and move well.
Remember in TF1 though they used the name Devastator f... read more

Actually you're both wrong! He'll be movie based so he won't be anything like any Silverbolt we've ever seen before! And he'll probably be a car!

I look forward to him throwing Mudflap out the front door of the mansion after Mudflap makes a joke about his weight/wife.

Prime 1 Studio is proud to present MMTFM-12 JAZZ from Transformers film. First Lieutenant Jazz is one happy-go-lucky Autobot. Good-natured and always able to take things in stride, he provides a decent contrast to the more serious demeanor of Ironhide or Optimus Prime himself. He's also a talker, something Ironhide and Prime like to tease him about. He might be the smallest Autobot but he's by no means a coward, willing to take on any foe, big or small.
