Japanese Go-Bots - A First Look at Max

By Jack on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 @ 02:14:43 PM

As we have reported over the last few months, there's a new line of Transformers Go-Bots coming out in Japan. With more than 12 new figures in the line, there's a whole lot more than meets the eye. Thanks to Remy we have provide a first Look at the slightly repainted Japanese Go-Bot, Max (Gorrilabot) now. See him in and out of the package below.

Check out Remy's complete image gallery featuring Max HERE.

I dunno what it is about a toy packaged in a Japanese box. Some how they know how to make toys seem more special like they really do care.

Indeed; sort of a cool slash cute design. Seems to be just as wired in as US toy boxes, though... Notice that the firetruck, which is sold by Tonka over here, is on the box...

Not a lot different, really, although I do like the silver accents. (Personally, I prefer to refer to Gorillabot as Optimus Primal. If the cheetah one is Cheetor instead of Cheetah-Bot, why not?)
