Hollywood Insider is reporting that Jonah Hill (Superbad) is in "early talks" to star opposite Shia LaBeouf in "Transformers 2."

The blog reports that Mr. Hill is to play Mr. LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky character's college roommate, described previously as a person who runs a conspiracy theory website and is funny in an irreverent, edgy way.

Of course, please take the time to remember Director Michael Bay's message where he downplays the character descriptions. Hollywood Insider also reports that DreamWorks will not confirm these talks, so take this with a grain of salt until completely official.
