LaBeouf Shines Light On How Revenge Incorporated Hand Injury

By bwbm on Wednesday, June 03, 2009

We all know that Shia LaBeouf's hand injury stemming from a car accident caused some setbacks, but we now have some new information about it.

During an interview published in the most recent issue of Wizard Magazine, Mr. LaBeouf reveals that an injury to Sam's hand was in the script before his accident ever happened.

Oddly enough, this statement contradicts what screenwriter Roberto Orci and Director Michael Bay, which say that it would have to be written into the film.

Regardless, Mr. LaBeouf reveals that Sam Witwicky hurts his hand en-route to a destination on the Space Bridge.

Don't expect too much hoopla to surround the hand injury, though.

"You don't spend much time on it; you don't dwell on it," Mr. LaBeouf tells Wizard's Danny Spiegel. "It's dealt with the way that injuries have been dealt with before [during film productions]."

Wow, they incorporated his injury into the film by having him get injured. Truly they are masters of story telling

Sorry about the Mr. LaBeouf thing? I don't know why I'm apologizing. I write all of my posts like that-Ms. Fox, Mr. Bay, Mr. LaBeouf. If enough people hate it (you're the first who complained about it since I've started that over a year ago), I'll stop.

The Spacebridge in the film isn't interplanetary. It's a site to site transportation like The Fallen's when he appears in the Egypt scene where all the humans and Autobots go flying when he materializes out of thin air. That's the Spacebridge. As for the hand,

Normally, I don't buy the photograph covers from Wizard, but this time I'll make an exception!
