Look at Animated Bumper, Autorooper & Steeljaw Designs

By bwbm on Thursday, May 14, 2009

In more Transformers Animated teasing, Lead Designer Derrick J. Wyatt has provided a look at the robot designs of Bumper, Autorooper, and Steeljaw done up in the Animated look.

We previously saw Steeljaw, who briefly appeared in the latest Animated episode This Is Why I Hate Machines.

The images are posted along with an interview at CoolShite.net, which recently spoke with Mr. Wyatt about his work on the series.

We have asked Mr. Wyatt whether or not we'll see these guys this season, and we'll let you know when we get an answer.

It's not that Autolooper's THAT obscure, it's just that he's from Kiss... and Kiss was creepy and stuff. I'm surprised they would even own up to it, considering the reputation it's garnered.

So that's who that ratchet looking bot was in Sentinels little propaganda film. Been driving me nuts trying to figure that out.

And Sundor. Don't forget him. He's in the April Fool's pic that Derrick Wyatt put out. Right beside Flip Sides and just under Slapper and Shockwave. And to the right of Zaur.

Love 'em. Love everything about 'em. Ya know, we got some Autobot cassettes being thrown around like Steeljaw, perhaps a Blaster is in the works if there is a season 4? It'd be nice to see him back on the scene chillin' with Jazz and fighting Soundwave.

Wow... I know they've done some semi-obscure references before, but I seriously can't believe they would reference anything from Kiss Players. I have both versions of Autolooper though, so I'm digging it

As we all know now that there's going to be a figure of Pre-Earth Ratchet, the possibility of an Animated Autrooper figure is high. Or at the very least someone can customize one.
