I dont think we ALL know that. SOme ppl are saying they will just repaint OR re-SELL the old molds. Any sources that say we are getting new engineered toys of the old characters. You're right. Reading these other posts made me remember that. Well chrome isn't die-cast, but at least it is something. Personally, I love to see chrome on figures. I think it really makes them look good. |

Odd that the smokestacks aren't chromed, and although the grill being chromed does look sweet, the fact that those form the feet, means even minimal handling & posing in robot mode is going to cause chrome wear or chipping... I get the feeling this will be a MISB queen for most people that ... read more |

I can't justify spending almost $90 on a toy that's not worth that much. A little chrome isn't anything special. Beside, I'd like the chrome somewhere were it's not likely to get scraped up, like on his smokestacks. His grill and bumper become his feet, so the chroming is... read more |
