More MasterPiece News
Hasbro Asia has posted an image showing off the design for the collector coin in package that will come with tomorrow's release of Masterpiece Bluestreak! For us that's Blue Bluestreak, but since the silver version of Bluestreak was simply named "Streak" in Japan, this release is titled "Bluestreak" on the package to differentiate it from regular Streak. Keep reading to see a less confusing image!
It's Japanese Hobby Magazine Time again! Ehobbybaseshop has posted a scan from Figure-Oh magazine, AKA Figure King, showing off Masterpiece Ironhide's transformation, accessories, and Battle Platform-shaped accessory stand. Also on display are Legends Ultra Magnus, MP Bumblebee Red, and MP Thundercracker! Read on to see the scan!
We just got word from BBTS that Takara Tomy have announced the MP-21R Masterpiece Red Bumblebee figure. This exciting repaint is a throwback to the original G1 assortment that featured both red and yellow versions of Bumblebee. The figure is estimated to arrive in late December 2015 with a current pre-order price of $64.99 USD. Read on to see the image below for more details. Pre-order now at bigbadtoystore.com
The bonus item for the Hasbro Asia rerelease of Masterpiece Sideswipe is, in fact, a collector's coin! This shocking development is entirely precedented, with the vast majority of Hasbro Asia bonuses taking coin form. As is typical however, it's a very nice coin with a nice Sideswipe-themed package. Read on to see!
New in from one of the Japanese hobby magazines we've got a look at the next upcoming Masterpiece figure - Bumblebee Red Body! Yes, we're getting another run of MP-21, this time in Cliffjumperish red. The text of the feature only refers to it as Bumble, so this won't strictly preclude a proper Cliffjumper farther down the road. This means that you can now own in Masterpiece fashion one of the color-variant Autobot Minicars from your youth, just as you'd always hoped! Click through to see the scan.
