And that is because Hasbro doesn't just release the Takara versions, which would be faster. No, they make them with cheaper materials and I guess the safety test takes awhile.

In other Masterpiece news, MP-13 has arrived to the US and should be hitting PoL's everywhere! I'm waiting for those Kreon Combiners to hit my PoL before shipping Soundwave. Please hurry!

All three threads started around the same time. To avoid confusion and redundant threads, we stuck with just one posting. No offenses, we hope

No. These haven't even been officially announced by Takara. And if the track records of the previously released US MPs give us any indication of a release schedule, it'll be at least a year after their Japan release before they hit the US.

Yea, the MP line isnt going to take the cheap way out like Generations did. We'll get a whole new mold for Sunstreaker. so they can repaint that into the police and red Diaclone vehicles too.

More MasterPiece News
Thanks to pancrazi on Weibo we have a few images showing the debut of Masterpiece Dirge! The third member of the conehead seeker group is finally accounted for, not terribly long after the reveal of Thrust! These photos actually show Dirge being unpacked and added to the display case, along with a good closeup on the figure's robot mode. Besides the serial number, an unsurprising MP-11ND, we don't have any information or release details for this figure. But as final as that display piece looks, it must not be too far future! Click through to have a look.
Inferno is finally joining Takara's Masterpiece series! MP-33 Masterpiece Inferno transforms into a fully licensed Mitsubishi Fuso T951 Ladder Fire Truck. Just like in the animation, his ladder completely disappears when in robot mode! The figure is listed now for a pre-order price of $149.99 USD slated to begin shipping in November 2016. Pre-order yours now from bigbadtoystore.com
At Wonderfest this summer, Cheetor was obviously the bigger show of the Masterpieces. But G1 was represented too, albeit just by the grey prototype of Inferno and a finished Delta Magnus. Autobase Aichi grabbed a few pictures of their display case, giving us an especially good look at Delta Magnus, and a close up of its alternate faces. If you want to check out the upcoming entires in the G1 MP run, keep reading for the mirrored photos!
Winderfest comes and goes very quickly, so we've gone out to round up coverage of the Transformers merchandise that was on display. First up from a few sources we have nice pictures of Masterpiece Cheetor, including some closeups on the accessory tray showing just how show accurate the option faces - both beast and bot -really are to the show design. And it turns out a finished Optimus Primal was on display too, even if it got little attention. Click through for mirrored photos!
Very quickly after its US retail debut at San Diego Comic Con, Toys R Us has already opened up Masterpiece Bumblebee (and Spike) for purchase on their website. Coming in at a price of $64.99, it's a little less offputting than the converted Canadian Toys R Us price, but like most all Hasbro released MP Autobot Cars, still coming in higher than the original Japanese pricing. There's no telling how long this will stay in stock as previous launches like this have sold through pretty fast, so get on it while you can! Find the link in the full post below.
