Transformers Masterpiece Thundercracker Toys R Us Exclusive In-Hand Images - Figures Sighted in USA
Jack - Saturday, August 25, 2012

Thanks to Seibertron member formula93 who has posted image of the Toys"R"Us Masterpiece Thundercracker that he found at US retail at TRU stores in Kansas. Formula93 has posted images of the figure in and out of package as well has revealed some very cool details about the toy: "...if you can't make it out, he has what amounts to an arm tatto on each bicep that has a picture of G1 Reflector, and the words "Say Cheese." Pretty neat touch." Check out the images and comments by formula93 for more details.
Here are a few pics of TC, albeit on my crappy phone camera. You'll notice in the pic with the green circle, there was a stress mark on that tab straight out of the package. It connects the arm to the wing in plane mode. Might want to be careful. I figured everybody knows the scale of this mold, so there aren't any of those pics. Also, if you can't make it out, he has what amounts to an arm tatto on each bicep that has a picture of G1 Reflector, and the words "Say Cheese." Pretty neat touch. The sidewinder missiles are included, but I don't think there's anywhere to store them in jet mode, as his null ray blasters are now permanently mounted to his arm. The two face gimmick is absent, but the instructions still refer to it, as they're the same for the old MP Seeker figs. They also don't refer to the new heels, which are a FANTASTIC addition. I finally have a seeker that can stand on his own!

Lol yeah tell me about it! I'm really hoping I can snag 2 online or find some in stores. If I happen to find any extras I'll let everyone here know and sell them off at cost+shipping, nothing more just to help out someone avoid the scalpers! I was pissed when the manager told me tha... read more

Good luck man, remember any main retail store should be able to check availability in all stores within about 100 miles, from then it's just hoping you can dial faster than someone can make it to the counter with one, I know that before I called the store I got mine from they had 2 in stock, 1 ... read more

Yeah ebay prices are fucking nuts! I've got 3 TRUs in town, 1 didn't get any in today, 1 was sold out by the time They answered the phone, and the 3rd admitted he sold off 2 cases to 1 dude as soon as the doors opened (and I had called all 3 within 10 minutes of opening). Your best bet is to try calling any TRU's that you know do get them whenever they get their truck to see if they have any in stock, I've never had a problem with TRU's holding anything for me until the end of the day, the only TRU close to me I was told by the manager simply elects to ne... read more

When Hasbro wanted to roll out their own cartoon series in the 80s, They went to Japan to work with Takara's Microman and Diaclone toy lines. Drawing the primary sources for the Transformers G1 toys that debuted in 1985. While only a small portion of the Microman series were utilized for Hasbro's Transformers. Microman toys were sold in America well before in 1976 as Mego's Micronaughts toys. Great to see these line together again under the Hasbro umbrella. Which, are set to join forces in the new IDW REVOLUTION crossover extravaganza!
Diaclone was launched in Japan by Takara in 1980, the same year I was born. And that’s where my childhood association with Diaclone ends, as growing up in the UK it was primarily Transformers that had my attention. Trickles of Diaclone-based figures did reach the UK but in London I saw neither sight nor sound of them. In addition to Japan and Asia, countries like France, Italy, Holland, Germany and some Scandinavian territories had Diaclone toys on shelves.
Comic Book Resources goes behind the scenes with IDW's people who are leading the charge on the mega-massive IDW REVOLUTION crossover extravaganza!!... Which, many of you may be asking yourself what is this cross over stuff? That's where this video comes to the rescue to explain what on earth, and space, is going on in this ultr-verse where giant robots been everyone else in the Hasbro Universe with MASK, GI Joe, ROM, Micronaughts, and how, where, how, who, how, what... Anyways watch that video below about what is in store from IDW REVOLUTION.
