MECH iDEAS Reveal Longblast Jazz to Shockwave Weapons Accessory Set Images
Jack - Wednesday, December 19, 2012

MECH iDEAS have updated their facebook page with official images of the Longblast upgrade weapons accessory set. The set has parts to convert Reveal the Shield Jazz figure into Shockwave with a one-eyed head, weapon hand, decal sheet, G1 Megatron gun and G1 Shockwave gun. This is kind of an odd collection of stuff that is said to give a nod to Alternators Shockblast. Check out the images of the Mech iDeas Reveal Longblast Jazz to Shockwave Weapons Accessory Set below.

You guys, the kit is $15.99 preordered through BBTS. The mini Shockwave and Megatron guns are worth this price IMO, but getting a Shockwave head is cool too. You could say that Jazz gets ripped in half by Megatron. Then Prime beats the crap out of Shockwave. Soon after Scapel senses life stil... read more

I saw a demonstration from a kitbasher a few years back and he took a 2007 movie Swindle and made him into Shockwave. The guy was good and the end result was phenomenal. I wouldn't mind this if, like Onslaught stated, were purple.

This is a neat kit, but I agree with LO that it needs to be a purple color. If the kit wasn't so expensive I would get it just for the MiniShockwave gun and Megatron. You could even use an extra Wheelie figure. That would look interesting. Orange and purple....

I'm sure you can dye it (after cleaning off pevious paint apps) I've had an extra Jazz lying around for the express purpose of doing a custom classics Shockwave clone

I know about the custom SG Longarm and would really want it, but not at the $1,000 price some people are selling it for. If I did have an extra Jazz body. I would find a way to color it purple for this.

Actually this was a new body for SG Shockwave, last years custom class figure also known as SG Longarm.

Umm... No thanks. Unless I had an all purple Jazz body, not interested. Just does not look right to me

I don't know if Mech Ideas is going to try to make a story or tech spec for this toy, but I'll give it a whirl. When we lsat saw Shockwave in the Transformers club "Classicverse" comic he was a living head kept in a jar by Megatron on board the Ark. So I figured maybe Shockwave esc... read more

Gorira Prime might sound like a likely name for a planet in some B-grade sci-fi, but in fact it's another upcoming Perfect Effect product. This is a redeco of Beast Gorira taking after the redeco of the real Optimal Optimus: Primal Prime. Look, it was the year 2000, we didn't have as many names to choose from in those days. Don't judge. Gorira Prime is expected to be released in November. No pricing information was officially released, but it can be expected to follow suit with Beast Gorira. Click through to check out the promo renders.
It looks like the unofficial Optimal Optimus will have an opponent in the near future. On Facebook, Perfect Effect has released the first tease for a new entry in their Perfect Beast series, a silhouette-style CG render of what is unmistakably Transmetal 2 Megatron. Even in this state it's clear the design has been passed through the Perfect Effect stylizing filter, which may or may not work for some collectors. And don't be surprised to see at least an additional blue version be announced before too long, too... Keep reading to see the full size image.
Now up for preorder at BBTS, Estimated to arrive November 2017. The PC-20 Perfect Combiner Upgrade is a repaint of the previously released PC-16 and is designed to work with the Comicon Exclusive Primitive Optimus Prime. This set includes a transforming figure, a breastplate, laser gun, neck kit, combine helmet and two interchangeable hands.
If you felt that this year's exclusive Primitive Skateboarding Optimus Prime from San Diego Comic Con bore a bit of resemblance to the old exclusive Nucleon Quest Super Convoy redeco of Powermaster Optimus/Super Ginrai from the early 2000s, you weren't alone. Perfect Effect has announced a black redeco of their Jinrai Prime coordinated with the SDCC Optimus. PC-20 Black Jinrai is due out around November, and features a new super mode head unique to this release which, along with the chest plate addon, are decoed to blend in with the SDCC Optimus. Check out the promo images, mirrored below!
Holy translucent purple plasitc fix, all the latest announcement from Xtransbots! The MX-III Eligos Figure stands 11 inches (28cm) in robot mode and transforms into a space jet. Eligos comes armed with two laser guns and sword and is accompanied by a mini warrior and a pilot. Read on to see the images and more details on this MP scale figure after the jump.
