I think the remolded star saber is the superlink Energon saber or some variation of it.

It's the Energon Saber in Energon Megs' colors.

Oh boy... more Sparkplug repaints... be still my heart. Souped up version or not, it's still more than enough as it is. Moving on... That's pretty weird, they repainted the Energon sabre in the original Star sabre colors. o_O
Leseee... Liver infected urine-colored Sea team and looks like slight variations on the Armada BW recolor adventure team partners. These boosters are pretty weak.

To me, ALL the recoloured teams/Minicons are different personalities (with the exceptions of those that are explained about in the comic/show). I use the western names for the originals and the "Japanese English" names for any alternate ones.

That way, its not odd to see two slightly different space teams on my Jetfire.

I just wish the recolours would be more inspired. the original Corona sparkplug was along the lines of what i wanted...

These are actually "Micron Booster version 1". The previous boosters--the slightly metallic Race and Air Defense Teams, along with Rod and Atlas--were version 0.

The recolors of Spark Prime aren't chases, btw. Missed mentioning that.

I might want to pick these up; that Energon Saber repaint is sweet! Where can I get them?

Were the Armada Beast War repaints even available in Japan? If that is the case, as I suspect it is, that probably explains how repaints of Cliffjumper, Ironhide and Armorhide made it into the mix. The Energon Sabre redeco is a nice complement to the regular North American release of the Energon Sabre. The yellow sea-team is at least better than the rust coloured original version. It's a shame though that the corona Sparkplugs aren't chrome and/or a little flashier in colour (like red for instance).

Questions: Does the set come with three Corona Sparkplugs (for a total of twelve figures) or just one per set? And does anyone have a picture of the first booster set (or at least a list of contents?) I've seen the box but not the contents on display, and would like to know before I decide to buy or not...
