More BotCon Shattered Glass Convention Figures?

By bwbm on Monday, April 07, 2008 @ 08:57:25 AM

Despite the BotCon 2008's Shattered Glass convention set being sold out, the free convention figure Ricochet completely spoken for, it has not stopped the rampant speculation over other convention exclusives that may peek their heads out during the weekend of the convention.

One of the figures speculated is a remolded Transformers: Armada Blurr, and now there are two more figures for the rumored pile: Rodimus Prime and Wheeljack. Jump in for more.

While these names are unconfirmed, Rodimus Prime comes to us via an auction from "toys_yuen." The figure is a repaint of the Transformers: Classics Rodimus mold. Whether it is remolded or not is unknown since we have yet to see any robot mode images.

Wheeljack, as it is named in a "nightwish2" TaoBao auction, is a repainted version of Transformers: Armada Wheeljack. Again, it is unknown if this figure is a remold or not since we have not seen the figure in robot mode.

Take a look at the images in the gallery below:

Yeah... I just don't believe that Drench is real. The picture looks like a custom job, and he doesn't really fit in with the characters already revealed. I'd say something about how silly it is that they're release an Armada mold but... yeah.

Sorry... I was actually referring to the "paint job". One of the guys one another board is convinced that the pic is a digibash, which could very well be true. Either way, it's a crappy coloring job. Trust me, I have nothing against a Drench repaint. I happen to think it suits the mo... read more

It actually has the exact same paintjob as Drench (which I think makes it a cool figure ). Plus, this set is almost the only place where they'll be able to use the Armada Wheeljack mold with its Autobot-to-Decepticon markings (plus, it's one of the best Armada molds - arguably second after ... read more
